Chelsea Handler and Heather McDonald are both comedians in their own right! The duo crossed paths for the first time when they began to work together on Chelsea's late-night E! series, Chelsea Lately.

While Handler was the host and executive producer of her own show, fellow colleague, and friend, Heather McDonald, was a writer, and a great one at that! Well, despite the duo getting off to a great start, it appears as if their friendship was quite short-lived when the two stopped speaking to one another.

Following 4 seasons of the Lately, Chelsea Handler officially stepped away from the E! network and made her move over to Netflix. During this time, McDonald stepped forward to reveal details regarding their feud, and now fans want to know where the two stand today.

What Happened Between Chelsea & Heather?

Chelsea Handler has had a lot of success when it comes to her comedy career, including her time ad the host of E!'s Chelsea Lately.

The talk show went on for four seasons, spanning seven years after its official end in 2014! During Chelsea's time on the show, she worked closely with her writers, one of which was fellow co-worker and friend, Heather McDonald.

McDonald is also a comedian and actress who is mainly known for her role in White Chicks and now being the host of her popular podcast, The Juicy Scoop. Well, during Heather McDonald's time on the show, where she remained between 2007-2014, she reportedly didn't have the best experience.

Back in 2016, Heather told Theo Von and Matthew Cole Weiss on the Allegedly podcast that she was "100 percent living in fear", sparking questions about what really went down.

"I enjoyed my time there, I was happy, but something could happen and my heart would be beating and I'd be like, 'Is this it?'" Heather said. "Somehow, I managed to keep surviving."

"'I think she's a good person, I don't agree with how she treats relationships in her life," McDonald also said during her time on the podcast. "'She makes you feel so special until you're not."

Well, Chelsea Handler was quick to respond to Heather's claims on The Howard Stern Show, calling the story complete "bulls***."

Chelsea was quick to call out Heather for selling stories of Handler in exchange for paparazzi photos, which prompted Chelsea to distance herself from Heather personally.

"When I found out at work that she was trading stories to Us Weekly about my personal life in exchange for having her pictures run in the magazine, I could have fired her," said Chelsea Handler. "She had a job for four more years. I never hung out with her personally again."

Well, it turns out that Heather McDonald's original comment was apparently taken out of context. McDonald made it clear during her Juicy Scoop podcast weeks later that her quote was isolated in order to be used in the way it was when originally, her response was whether she was afraid of ever being let go from the show.

"Chelsea herself said she didn’t even listen to the whole interview," McDonald added. "And I feel bad if she or anyone else misunderstood me, as I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked for her."

Following the explanation, it appears as if Chelsea and Heather buried the hatchet and are "just fine" today! Although the duo isn't the best of friends, both Handler and McDonald made it clear that there is no bad blood between them.
