There once was a time that we couldn't get through a day without being inundated by tweets from Kanye West. Some of his social media posts were so bizarre that fans wanted to look away, but just couldn't resist getting their fix. Love him or hate him, the one thing we could always rely on was the fact that Kanye would keep the entertainment coming with repeated posts on Instagram and Twitter. If that seems like a distant memory for some of you, that's because it is...

Kanye West's Mysterious Hiatus

Kanye West went from putting up an abundance of social media posts to absolutely none at all, and now that it's been 2 full months since we heard from him, fans have gone from curious to worried. At first, it seemed he was pulling a disappearing stunt as a way of protest. Fans initially assumed this was another Kanye West tantrum after losing his battle to reign in the White House, and chalked up his absence to just having a bit of embarrassment surrounding the issue.

As time went on, and his wife Kim Kardashian was photographed on vacation to celebrate her birthday, Kanye was noticeably absent, and the focus shifted to the assumption that there was trouble within his marriage that was causing him to steer clear of social media attention for a while.

Could Kanye Be In Rehab?

Kanye West has been under scrutiny over the stability of his mental health many times. His first political campaign was essentially a public display of his emotional and mental instability, as he totally lost control and shared far too many personal details with the world. Even his biggest supporters began doubting his ability to take on a role in politics when he began using his political platform to tell people that he was nearly aborted by his father and that he and Kim discussed aborting their first child. It was cringe-worthy to say the least, and now fans are wondering if he's absent because he's in rehab. It would explain why he hasn't been photographed with Kim and his kids lately, that's for sure.

His whereabouts are all speculation at this point, but the one thing we know for sure is the fact that his Twitter account and Instagram account have remained inactive for a full 2 months.  There have been no new post or actions taken, and no signs to indicate the reason for his absence. For a man with so much dedication to spreading the word of his faith, releasing new music, and habitually reminding fans about the multiple projects he has on the go, a 2-month hiatus from social media is highly unusual and fans hope that he's ok.
