Camryn Barnes grew up with two wealthy parents while Alex Fielding was adopted by a single mother. The sisters encounter each other for the first time on their 21st birthday, with the help of Karsh and Ileana of course. Once Camryn and Alex realize there is a magical bond between them... the pair realize the stories about Coventry are true. These Twitches (twin witches) must now join forces to save Coventry and vanquish the evil Darkness.

The sequel to Twitches follows a similar storyline to the original film. Camryn and Alex must save their father who is still alive in the Shadowlands. Their birth mother Miranda informs her daughters that they must do a vanquishing spell during an eclipse. The ladies defeat Thantos and bring their father Aron back. The movie ends with Karsh and Ileana's wedding and the series ends with a perfectly tied bow. At the time, many fans wanted a sequel, so why is the discussion for a "Twitches 3" emerging over a decade later?

3 Tamera Mowry-Houseley's Thoughts On A Third Installment

Tamera revealed that she wouldn’t miss the opportunity to be back on set with her sister Tia. “I don't know if that's gonna happen. I mean, but we want to. I would absolutely love to do something with my sister. I feel like when I work with my sister, it is magical,” she told Distractify. Mowry-Housley believes that a Twitches 3 is bound to happen. "I mean, it's not that my sister and I don't want to do it," she says. "I think creatively it has to make sense."

"We are also always so very busy," she adds. "It's insane, and it's a blessing, especially in Hollywood, to be able to work as long as we have. I think it's just finding the time and then making sure creatively that it's okay."

While Tia also supports the idea of a Twitches 3, she has clarified that she would only participate in the movie as a way to pass the baton on to a younger generation. "Where I would probably want to see Twitches 3 take off is us being parents and helping and guiding our children on how to be incredible witches," she explained. "We’re passing the mantle on... I think that would be really cool."

Popular music duo Chloe and Halle Bailey's names were being thrown around in discussions about a sqeuel. Tamera is onboard with the idea, stating, "I would love it... I love those girls. I think that would be sick."

"All we need is Disney to be down," she adds. "It could be a fun Disney+ kind of movie. I think that would be dope."

Chloe Bailey also weighed in on the conversation stating, "Y’all don’t know how much we love Tia and Tamera and y’all don’t know how much we love Twitches." The singer added, "Now, they look so good I don’t think they could play our moms." Halle echoed her sister stating, "Yeah ... they could not play our mothers. I think they could play like our aunts."
