While fans might be wondering what Matt Lanter has been up to these past few years, the better question is, what hasn't he been up to? When 'Timeless' wrapped in 2018, Lanter had a handful of other projects both in progress, as well as a few more lined up.

He hasn't stopped acting since 'Timeless,' though his roles are pretty varied these days. In fact, Lanter has turned to some animated classics, in a departure from his standard TV roles.

He's also joined two separate franchises that are equally lucrative. And while the married actor keeps a bit of a low profile, there's nothing low-key about his acting resume.

While he's enjoyed plenty of family time recently (he and his longtime girlfriend welcomed a daughter in 2017), he's also working on expanding his acting experience, and it's nothing to scoff at.

The same year that Lanter wrapped up 'Timeless,' he was also working on 'Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.' The animated show ran from 2017 to 2018, and Lanter voiced Anakin Skywalker himself. Sure, he's not Ewan McGregor (and he probably hasn't made as much for 'Star Wars'), but fans are all over his interpretations of the various characters he's played.

But after Star Wars, Matt lent his voice to a handful of Marvel projects, per IMDb. From voicing Aquaman to becoming Winter Soldier via voice, Matt has a recognizable part in many animated series and films.

After all that voice work, though, Lanter may have been looking for something different. In between 'Star Wars: Forces of Destiny' and 'Star Wars: The Clone Wars,' Lanter appeared in 'The Mandalorian' as "New Republic Soldier." It's not quite as iconic as Pedro Pascal's role in 'The Mandalorian,' but it's still noteworthy. After all, everyone's absolutely obsessed with 'The Mandalorian' lately.

Though he's bounced between the two franchises plenty, that's not all Lanter has been up to. He's also worked on a handful of films, plus he's slated to appear in the upcoming TV series 'Jupiter's Legacy' starting in 2021.

Beyond that, he has two other projects in progress, per IMDb; two separate films that are both in pre-production. In one movie, he plays a reverend!

Fans are thrilled to see what he'll do next, because with a resume like that, Matt is likely to continue appearing on both the big and small screens. And his next project, 'Jupiter's Legacy,' is yet another superhero action series, so Lanter will be right at home.

He'll share the screen with faces like Josh Duhamel, Leslie Bibb, and more -- and fans are here for it.
