Even the biggest skeptics of destiny - the idea that everything that there is order to the universe and that there is a prewritten order to everything that happens - might be hard-pressed to explain the friendship of Vanderpump Rules stars Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval. If there's no destiny, how do you explain the fact that these two were born in the same lifetime, existed in the same place, and somehow found each other? The two share an outrageous and explosively fun friendship that goes far beyond the yawning joke of "bromance." And while it is hilarious to watch their bizarre antics unfold on our TV screens, there's something more to it than that.

We don't have too many great models of what tenderness or platonic love looks like between adult men. We don't often see men being affectionate or playful with one another, or capable of expressing their adoration for each other freely and easily. What makes Tom and Tom so compelling as a pair is that we can see how much they truly love each other, and they know that expressing that love does not compromise their masculinity in any way. They don't just goof off together - they truly support and listen to each other, do kind things for each other, give gifts, and express love frequently. There are so many too choose from, but here are 10 of our favorite times that Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval were BFF goals.

10 When They Partied Through Their First Business Trip

Tom Schwartz, Tom Sandoval, and Las Vegas, do not make a good combo. Or, at least not if you're on a business trip. When Lisa brings them along to assist with preparations for TomTom, the boys do what they do best: party. After egging each other on to drink all night, they showed up to an important appointment half-drunk and bouncing off the walls, eliciting a stern lecture from Lisa.

9 When They Dressed in Drag Together

A best friend is always down to clown with you. While in New Orleans for Tom and Katie's joint bachelor-bachelorette party, the guys decided to indulge their imaginations and dress up as their new drag personas: Visa Manderhump and Jen Rod. They hit the town in full drag, dropping into their new characters more and more as the evening went on.

8 When They Nailed the Cocktail Menu for Tom Tom

Anyone who watched Seasons 6 and 7 knows that a huge storyline in the development of Tom Tom was whether or not the Toms' own cocktail recipes would be used on the cocktail menu, or if it would feature more cocktails from an outside bartender. The Toms work for months perfecting their own signature cocktails like two BFFs cramming for a joint SAT. They nailed it, and the cocktail menu now features 10 of their original cocktails.

7 When Sandoval Ate Schwartz's Butt Steak

As a special dinner to ask Jax and Sandoval to be his groomsmen, Schwartz cooked up one disgusting prank. After the meal (steak and shrimp), while Jax and Sandoval were complimenting the chef, Schwartz revealed he'd put the steaks they'd just eaten in his buttcrack and all over his body before cooking them. Fans will never forget this iconic scene!

6 When They See Tom Tom For the First Time

A BFF is someone you can crush life goals with. When Lisa takes the Toms on a tour of the bar they co-own for the first time, they get emotional with how happy they are. They tear up as they thank Lisa, and explode with laughter when they see the larger-than-life portrait of them kissing hanging in the bar. As Sandoval tearfully puts it, "This is a dream come true."

5 When They Were Drunk at NASCAR

It may have been Ariana's birthday weekend, but the Toms found a way to make the celebration about their friendship too. After partying all day and night, the guys were drunk in the RV and making up silly, toilet-themed songs ("save that poop," anyone?), proof that with your best friend around, anything can be a good time.

4 When They Showed Up to the Tom Tom Opening on a Motorcycle With Matching Helmets

One of the most joyful moments we've seen on this show, the Toms schemed a grand entrance for their first night at the bar they co-own, Tom Tom. Sandoval surprised Schwartz by revealing he'd bought a motorcycle with a sidecar and had matching helmets made for them. The entrance was a hit and the Toms looked like they were on top of the world.

3 When They Kissed at Schwartz's Bachelor Party

During a game of Spin the Bottle at Tom and Katie's joint bachelor and bachelorette party, Schwartz makes a lucky spin that lands right on his BFF. To shrieks and whoops from the rest of the friends, the Toms lock lips. And...kind of for a long time, like longer than you might expect. Hey, we don't hate it!

2 When They Got Butt Tattoos Together

During a usual night of booze-fueled antics and revelry, the Toms made the genius decision to get tattoos together...on their butts. Sandoval's was an 'A' (for Ariana) and Schwartz's was "Bubba," famously his nickname for his now-wife Katie Maloney. Katie was surprisingly tickled by the gesture, while Ariana was mad and ultimately made Sandoval remove it. The 'A' did look pretty bad, we have to say.

1 When Tom Sandoval Surprised Tom Schwartz by Flying His Brothers to His Wedding

We dare you to watch this adorable stunt unfold and not shed a tear. Schwartz's three younger brothers, who are triplets and who are very special to him, couldn't afford flights to his wedding, so they wouldn't be attending...or so Schwartz thought. Sandoval and Jax flew the boys out to surprise their brother. Despite missing their flights initially, the triplets made it there in time for the rehearsal dinner, and the reveal goes off spectacularly. Sandoval beams as Schwartz puts his head in his hands crying - too sweet for words!
