Timothée Chalamet co-chaired the anticipated 2021 Met Gala alongside co-chairs Billie Eilish, Amanda Gorman and Naomi Osaka on Monday. After the 2020 edition of the event was cancelled due to the pandemic, the annual charity event took place in New York City on September 13.Fans shortly recognized that the Dune actor probably had an awkward time at the Met Ball, since three of his ex-girlfriends: Lily-Rose Depp, Eiza Gonzalez as well as Madonna’s daughter Lordes Leon were in attendance.Chalamet wasn’t seen interacting with any of the women, but as per a blind item posted on Instagram celebrity gossip account DeuxMoi, the actor was “feeling” actress Keke Palmer.
Timothée Brings The Crew Out
A video featuring Chalamet’s awkward time at the Met Gala went viral on TiKTok, featuring red-carpet photos of his past loves.
A blind item posted to DeuxMoi read: “Lol Timothée Chalamet definitely had an awkward time at the Met, Eiza Gonzalez, his highschool girlfriend Lourdes and Lily Rose Depp were there too.”
For Lourdes Leon - Timothée was her first ever boyfriend in highschool and they were a “little item”. While attending the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan, Lourdes met Chalamet, who also happened to be a student.
Although the couple haven’t discussed their relationship much publicly, Chalamet and Leon have expressed having a mutual respect for each other. They dated for a few months in 2013 and also attended prom as a couple!
Lily-Rose Depp, who Chalamet worked with on the Netflix film The King was also present at the event. The couple began dating after meeting on the film set, and dated on-and-off between 2018 and 2020 before splitting up later that year.
Chalamet also had a summer romance with Eiza Gonzalez, who stunned on the Met Gala red carpet. Their past relationship however was short-lived and the sparks fizzled soon after.
The duo were only together for the duration of their Cabo trip. The two stayed at a luxury villa and were accompanied by their friends on the trip, although they spent most of their time together. Paparazzi photographed Eiza and Timothée at the beach and pool, where the actors snuggled together.
It couldn't have been easy for Timothée to see three of his ex-girlfriends in a single night!
