Being a fast-rising star in Hollywood is something that few are able to achieve, but it is difficult to capitalize on the opportunities that are presented. One wrong move can sink everything, while taking the right project can elevate someone's career in no time at all.

Timothée Chalamet is one of the most popular young actors working today, and the former YouTuber has had one heck of a year, with a lot more on deck. He's had a wealth of success so far, but there is one movie that he is steadily distancing himself from.

Let's take a look at Chalamet and the one movie he has started to push away.

Timothee Chalamet Is A Rising Star

People that have been paying any semblance of attention to the movie business can attest to the fact that Timothée Chalamet is one of the most popular young stars in the entertainment industry. Not only is he making strides with his fantastic performances, but he is seemingly attached to every major project that is being put into development.

The actor has already been nominated for an Oscar and a plethora of other awards, and as such, movie studios want nothing more than to work with him.

Need proof? According to CinemaBlend, "He auditioned for a few noteworthy movies, including, but not limited to, Nicolas Winding Refn's The Neon Demon, Tim Burton's Miss Peregrine's Home For Peculiar Children, and The Theory of Everything, but he didn't walk away with those respective roles."

Add on the MCU's Spider-Man, and it's clear that major studios want him in major roles as often as possible.

As if it has not been abundantly clear already, Timothée Chalamet is one of the biggest rising stars in Hollywood. Even though he has a lot to look forward to, he has already been stacking up a crazy amount of credits, all of which have had a hand in getting him to where he is now.

The Actor Already Has An Impressive List Of Credits

While still relatively young in his career and has a lot of room to improve, Timothée Chalamet is already stacking a list of credits that any performer would do just about anything for. This has come thanks to having a ton of opportunities come his way, but the important thing is that he has been able to capitalize on these golden opportunities.

So far, fans have gotten to see the actor in movies like Interstellar, Love the Coopers, Call Me by Your Name, Lady Bird, Beautiful Boy, The King, and Little Women.

This year alone, he has been in The French Dispatch, Dune, and Don't Look Up, all of which were movies that generated a ton of buzz.

It's truly remarkable that Chalamet has been in so many successful projects already, but there is one that he has tried to distance himself from.

Timothée Chalamet Regrets Appearing In 'A Rainy Day In New York'

If there is one film that Timothée Chalamet certainly has some qualms about working on, it is the film A Rainy Day in New York, which was directed by Woody Allen.

The filmmaker was once a respected member of the film industry, but over time, he has found himself embroiled in a ton of controversy, which has soured people on working with him.

As the Chalamet himself said, "I have been asked in a few recent interviews about my decision to work on a film with Woody Allen last summer. I’m not able to answer the question directly because of contractual obligations. But what I can say is this: I don’t want to profit from my work on the film, and to that end, I am going to donate my entire salary to three charities: Time’s Up, the LGBT Centre in New York, and Rainn [the Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network]."

“I want to be worthy of standing shoulder to shoulder with the brave artists who are fighting for all the people to be treated with the respect and dignity they deserve," he continued.

The actor was very careful with his words, and we have to give him credit for standing up for what he believes in. It is clear that he is doing his best to distance himself from the benefits of working with someone like Woody Allen.
