Tom Cruise is a complex individual. Stories about working with the actor seem to be mixed. Take Emily Blunt as an example, the actress revealed she'd never work with the actor. However, once they appeared together in Edge of Tomorrow, her perception quickly changed, as she complimented Cruise and loved the experience of working with the actor.

On the flip side, Cruise is know for losing his cool. Although his interview with Oprah was a memorable one, he wasn't pleased with the way he was portrayed. This caused a falling out between the two, and Cruise snubbing Oprah on his wedding invites.

As we'll reveal in the following, working with Tom Cruise can be very tricky. In her book, Leah Remini revealed a story that saw Tom Cruise completely lose it on his assistant. Let's take a look back at how it all unfolded, and what Tom Cruise's team had to say about the allegations.

Working alongside Tom Cruise can be a dream come true for an actor or staff behind the scenes. However, the opposite can also hold true at times, given how intense the actor can be on a film set.

That held true even most recently during, Mission: Impossible 7. Tom Cruise had a major fit on the set, after he noticed that the crew was standing too close with one another, during the pandemic.

Tom was caught going on a rant, which went completely viral.

"If I see you do it again you’re (expletive) gone. And if anyone on this crew does it, that’s it."

Cruise continued, "We are the gold standard. They’re back there in Hollywood making movies right now because of us."

"Because they believe in us and what we’re doing. I’m on the phone with every (expletive) studio at night, insurance companies, producers and they’re looking at us and using us to make their movies. We are creating thousands of jobs, you (expletive). I don’t ever want to see it again. Ever!”

Tom stood by his statement and wasn't apologetic. However, when it came to a certain Leah Remini story, not only did Tom avoid discussing it, but his team completely turned the story down.

Leah Remini Revealed A Story Of Tom Cruise Losing It On His Assistant Over Cookie Dough

It is common knowledge by now, Leah Remini and Tom Cruise don't see eye to eye. In fact, Remini hasn't shied away from speaking out against Tom Cruise. That was especially the case in her memoir, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology.

In the book, Remini recalled a certain situation, which saw Tom Cruise lose it on his assistant for forgetting to get cookie dough.

People reports that Cruise grew angry when the cookie dough wasn't waiting for him.

"Apparently relaying this desire to his assistants, Remini says Cruise walked into his kitchen and when he failed to see the prepackaged cookie dough waiting for him on the counter “he instantly got angry.”

Remini would add that his assistant was terrified at the moment.

“They had the fear of God in them because they knew what was coming,” she tells PEOPLE in this week’s cover story. “They are probably still in Florida right now because they disgraced him," she said of the situation back in 2015.

Despite the claims, Cruise's team did issue a statement, claiming it was all fabricated by Remini.

According to Remini, she was the one that calmed the situation, pointing out that the dough was on the counter. Cruise's team would chime in, mentioning that it was all done by Remini to sell more copies of her book, thanks to using Cruise's name in a completely false story.

Although this took place in 2015, Remini continues to support others against the actor. She liked a tweet from Claire Headley, who pointed out she wasn't going to watch Top Gun: Maverick, because of the actor's past.

"No, I will not watch the movie, nor will I ever support or approve of this scam of a man," she wrote.

"Trust me, Tom Cruise knows exactly who he is supporting and the abuses that organization perpetrates. I worked with him while I was there."

Remini acknowledged the tweet and thanked Headley for her courage.
