Twitter broke down in July after Spider-Man co-stars Tom Holland and Zendaya were photographed kissing in a car. The actors were seen getting cozy with each other after years of maintaining that their relationship was just friendly.
The couple also attended a wedding together in Oakland last week and the photos sent MCU fans in a frenzy. The Emmy-winning actress celebrates her birthday on September 1, and her former co-star and now partner, shared the sweetest birthday wish for her on Instagram.
Tom Wishes Zendaya, Calls Her ‘My MJ’
Spider-Man fans have waited years to see an off-screen romance between Tom and Zendaya, who play a couple on-screen in the superhero franchise. Zendaya’s Michelle “MJ” Jones is the love interest to Holland’s Peter Parker, and the actor wrote an adorable caption about it.
“My MJ, have the happiest of birthdays. Gimme a call when your up xxx,” Holland wrote in the post, alongside a photograph of the two.
While the actor wore his epic superhero suit in the photo, Zendaya was dressed as MJ, and rested her head on his shoulder while snapping a photo from her camera.
The photo appears to have been captured behind-the-scenes while filming Spider-Man: No Way Home, the couple’s third film together. It will be released later this year.
Tom surprised Marvel fans with the photo, who are over the moon to see that Zendaya and him are going strong in their relationship.

In the weeks after Tom and Zendaya confirmed their relationship, fans believed it was a PR stunt for the film because the news of a romance between them was too good to be true. Since then, the actors have been seen on outdoor dates, holding hands...and they attended a friend’s wedding together which has made fans feel skeptical.
