When Torry Hermann first shot to fame, she was single and living in Vancouver with her bulldog. It's safe to say, everything has changed.
Well, not everything. She's still rooming with Rudy - but now, the pair has a brand new roommate in the form of Torry's new husband. Oh, and the three of them live in Orange County now.
We sat down with Torry to hear more about her move to California ... and what spending more time in the Golden State has got her thinking about, career-wise.
Torry Shares What Prompted The Move
Torry has previously spoken to TheThings about her whirlwind romance with and epic engagement to new husband, Vito Glazers, but what she hadn't spoken about is why they opted to settle in California.
That said, she jokes that the move was self-explanatory.
"The decision honestly was not a tough one," she laughs.
"I lived in rainy, stormy Vancouver, and he had a place in sunny, calm, quiet Orange County. So, we just flew to Vancouver, picked up my car and my dog, and off we were to the new, fun and exciting start of our little family."
That's not to say she doesn't miss aspects of her old life - "I miss my friends in Vancouver!" she admits.
However, at the end of the day, she's loving her new home.
"I love California, so the move wasn't hard at all ... plus, Vancouver is only a short flight away, so I can always go and visit!"
Torry Opens Up About Her New Life In La La Land
Living in Orange County means LA is just a short drive away, so it only makes sense that Torry has been spending more time in La La Land of late.
With that comes an all-new level of fan culture - and Torry doesn't mind, one bit.
"I get recognized way more often here, and many people ask for photos, which I love!" she beams.
"I love talking to people that follow me, answering their questions, giving advice and so on. That's my job which I chose for myself, but I'd honestly do it even if I wasn't getting paid to be on social media."
Torry On What She Would Love To Do Next
Another perk of being on LA's doorstep? New, Hollywood opportunities - and Torry shares that she would love an opportunity to flex her acting muscles.
"My dream is to play a role in my own movie," she begins.
"I have a script ready, all based on a dream I had that I transcribed as soon as I woke up one morning."
As for what we could expect from that script, she smiles, "It's a mystery, crime, and a little bit of comedy, of course."
"I'm planning to raise funds to shoot the movie via public service, like Kickstarter or something similar. I just think it would be cool to produce a movie with the help of my followers and people who truly believe in what I do. Then, we can all split the profits and go on a fun trip all together!"
However, Torry also reveals that aside from her very own film, she's champing at the bit to do something a little out of her comfort zone.
"I have a dramatic part to my soul that I don't often get to express through my comedy."
So, what would be her dream role?
"If there's ever another movie about Amy Winehouse," she shares, "I'd love to play her!"
