Kylie Jenner has been given the side-eye by some fans after she donated $500,000 to Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital. It comes after the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was criticized for not paying for her make-up artist's medical treatment.

The cosmetic mogul gave the donation towards the construction of a patient space, called the "Hey, I'm Here For You Teen Lounge."

Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital, often referred to as Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, is described as "one of the nation's leading children's hospitals, and the largest in the Southeast."

Jenner's longtime friend and musician Harry Hudson, who was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2013. The Kylie Cosmetics CEO was by Hudson's side as he battled the cancer of the lymphatic system, which he successfully battled.

"I am so grateful for Kylie's friendship and the impact she's had on my life and my cancer journey," said Hudson in a press release. "She has always been there for me, and together, we wanted to figure out a way to be there for other young people who are battling this disease."

Last month, Kylie was dragged after asking for donations from fans to help her former makeup artist, Samuel Rauda.

Rauda needed brain surgery after a car accident.

Fans of the cosmetic mogul were upset that the reality star asked for donations despite her $900 million net worth. Jenner previously earned the title of “self-made billionaire” which has been disputed by some outlets.

On March 18, Kylie took to her Instagram stories and asked her followers to contribute to the GoFundMe created by Samuel’s family. Sharing a picture of Samuel in her stories she wrote:

“May God watch over you and protect you @makeupbysamuel. Everyone take a moment to say a prayer for Sam who got into an accident this past weekend. And swipe up to visit his families’ go fund me.”

The mom-of-one donated $5k to help with Rauda's medical expenses. However Jenner was still trolled for not donating the whole amount. The initial target of $60k was met, but the target has now gone up to $120,000. Currently the total raised stands at $101,732.

Some social media commenters have questioned if Kylie's hospital donation had anything to do with her recent scandal. "She's so transparent," one commented.

"She was shamed into donating. No KardTRASHian/ Jenner donates freely," a second added.

"Embarrassed into a Donation but see the benefits of a tax write off. She certainly is her mother's daughter," a third chimed in.

But one fan stuck up for Jenner and noted she's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't. "She's will probably get load of negative comments for this generous donation. She can't win really."
