Nick Cannon has been making waves on the internet since welcoming his seventh child with rumored girlfriend Alyssa Scott. The 40-year old actor and entertainer has now welcomed his fourth child in the span of the year.

Many people on Twitter found this behavior unusual from The Mask Singer host, with users calling into question his reason for having so many children in such a short length of time, and his recent comments on the situation have many calling him a “villain."

Earlier this week, Cannon decided to address the controversy on his Power 106 Los Angeles radio show. When City Girls rapper JT told him he should “wrap it up” to prevent more women from getting pregnant, the Wild N' Out star admitted that he’s been “having these kids on purpose.”

Twitter users found his comments disturbing, and even went as far as to label him a “literal villain” for deliberately choosing to have children with so many different women, citing it as irresponsible and not fair to the mothers or the children.

Some people took to the platform to call out his controversial behavior.

During the interview, Cannon went on to say that all of the women he chose to have children with were “supposed to get pregnant.” The actor went on to compare himself to a seahorse and said, “That's just the way I'm procreating."

Last week, Alyssa Scott announced the birth of Cannon’s seventh child, Zen, on Instagram. Scott posted a black-and-white photo with her holding the newborn in her arms and wrote the caption, “I love you for eternity.”
