He's the biggest name in Hollywood these days, however, once upon a time, things were quite different for Dwayne Johnson.

He maximized his star power in the world of pro wrestling and he was looking to branch off into the world of acting.

Things did not get off to a promising start, with dud film after dud film. 'Tooth Fairy' turned out to be DJ's breaking point, following the film, he fired his entire team of reps and he decided to do things his way.

Suddenly, he was longer conforming to Hollywood standards and he was able to be himself. That's when lead roles started to fall on his lap, like 'Fast And Furious' along with 'Pain And Gain'.

These days, the momentum is just as high, he recently released 'Jungle Cruise' while other films are on the horizon, such as 'Black Adam'.

He's got so many new projects announced, though, at the moment, all the talk is surrounding 'Jungle Cruise' and his role alongside Emily Blunt. DJ spoke glowingly about the early reviews, though Twitter fans are objecting for this reason.

Different Scores

The Rock is adding to the 'Jungle Cruise' hype train, releasing a 94% score for the film on 'Rotten Tomatoes'. DJ made mention that this score is the highest he's ever gotten amongst the audience.

For the most part, we love the positivity, however, some fans on Twitter noticed that DJ's score isn't the entire story.

UK fans are noticing a different score and not the one DJ released to the fans.

Other fans also made mention that taking that type of score seriously early on is a flawed approach.

On the other end of the spectrum, lots of fans are loving the film, especially the younger generations. At the end of the day, that triumphs any type of review score.

The film is off to a decent start at the box office, bringing in $32 million. Given its budget, yes it is a bit of a letdown but let's not forget the circumstances going on in the world at the moment, which will drive the number down.

At the very least, fans are loving the film, at least we think...
