Ricarlo Flanagan, best known for his recurring role on Shameless, and for his talented work on The Last Comic Standing, has sadly lost his battle with this deadly virus, and left the world at the tender age of just 41 years old.

It was just 12 days ago that Ricarlo Flanagan made his last post on social media, alerting fans to the fact that Covid is "no joke," and expressing that he was suffering at the hands of of this horrible virus. Nobody had any idea that he would lose his life at such a young age.

Twitter has commemorated his incredible contributions to the world of entertainment while they mourn the loss of such a young, talented man.

Saying Goodbye To Ricarlo Flanagan

Ricarlo Flanagan had lots left to do. His life was full, his career was at a high point, and he was surrounded by loving fans, friends, and family, all of whom were in his corner and strongly supporting his success.

The news of his passing was shocking to fans across the world, and of course, was a devastating blow to his loved ones.

To make matters worse, Ricarlo's family wasn't anywhere in close proximity at the time of his passing, and arrangements now have to be made to transport his body to Ohio so his family can say some proper goodbyes.

A GoFundMe page has been set up in his name, to assist his family with the cost of the funeral, and the transport required to have him returned to his loved ones. The $10,000 goal has nearly been doubled, as fans do whatever is in their power to support Ricarlo in one final way.

Twitter is very evidently in mourning, as fans struggle to cope with his loss. A myriad of emotions has been revealed online, as fans express their frustrations over those who do not take this virus seriously, and vent their anger over losing Ricarlo in this manner. Grief is evident as fans and friends tell a tale of Ricarlo's gentle nature, and send messages of love and prayer.

Comments include; "he was one of the funniest, kindest people I knew in this business. I worked with him on so many things, hung with him so many times, and I will miss him so much," "His work and memory will be eternal, he’ll never ever be forgotten" and "what a shame, this is truly a horrible loss to the world."

Others wrote; "RIP Goat" and "God likes to keep in good company."

It is unclear if Ricarlo had been vaccinated when he contracted the virus, or if he had any underlying health conditions that contributed to his death.
