Recently, despite being weeks ever since Usher's last show, a video clip has been going viral on Twitter. The clip features a woman going all out with a pole, dancing around it and captivating the audiences and men who were part of the performance.
Twitter users who stumbled across the video were smitten by the talented woman's moves. They were too invested with her dancing that it took them a few watches to realize that she was not the main act. Perhaps Usher wouldn't even be mad that she stole the show.
Twitter user @kailahdee, who posted the nearly 400k viewed clip, credited the dancer, who's Instagram is in the reply threads. She goes by Isis the Goddess online, real name Keanua Ivana Washington, and she is the real deal. Not only is she a professional dancer, but she also a personal trainer, teaches pole dancing classes, and has a decent following on Instagram. Given her confidence in her talent and looks, she also has an OnlyFans, which has a surprisingly low number of 40 subscribers.
Due to how insanely talented Washington is, Twitter users questioned how pole dancing is not an Olympic sport. Logically, while it is a sport, it has been associated with the sex industry as @twixseok points out. Pole dancing, however, was considered, but didn't make the cut at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. One user did note that there is a worldwide pole dancing competition, and Washington is definitely a perfect candidate to take part when she's able to.
Fans of her jokingly asked if she is paying Usher well to go with the idea of her being the main part of the Las Vegas residency. Others also trolled with the mention of Usher bucks, which has gotten the singer criticism in the past.
The fact that Usher had to get the male dancers' attention to continue on with the show is icing on the cake for Washington's performance. Can they really be blamed though? When December comes, Usher better take notes on how he can keep his audience invested in him, otherwise Washington will be taking over with her own Las Vegas residency.
