Since it premiered in 2003, NCIS has been fascinating and entertaining fans. Star Chris O'Donnell has five children and fans are also curious about Mark Harmon's family life, since he plays the main character Agent Gibbs.

There are other crime TV shows for NCIS fans to check out, especially when waiting for a new season of NCIS to premiere. Thankfully, the show has led to a few spin-offs so there is plenty for fans to watch.

Mark Harmon has been famous since the 80's when he and his wife began seeing each other. The couple has two children, so let's take a look at what Mark Harmon's kids do today.

Ty Christian Harmon

Both of Mark Harmon's sons are working in the movie industry, and it is really fun to see them in the same creative field as their famous dad.

Ty Harmon is now 28 years old and while his brother has gotten involved in the acting world, he's all about screenwriting. There are some horror movies that are better than others, and it sounds like this is a genre that Ty is interested in, as he wrote his own short horror film. From the title alone, it sounds like it's unique.

Ty wrote a short horror movie called Catholic Showgirl Chainsaw Showdown. According to Married Celeb, Sean directed the movie. It's really fun to hear about the brothers working together on a creative project.

It's interesting to note that while Mark Harmon is super famous and has been interviewed over the course of his career, his sons seem to be living their lives more privately.

According to Fabiosa.com, Ty once said, "I am not a Twitter guy, and being with my family is more important than being social."

Sean Harmon

The 32-year-old Sean Harmon played a young verison of Agent Gibbs on NCIS. According to Cheat Sheet, he was in quite a few episodes that aired from 2003 until 2008.

According to Express.co.uk, Mark Harmon was interviewed by Entertainment Tonight and shared how wonderful it was that his son was on his TV show. He said, "I always think back to the first time they talked about doing a young Gibbs thing here, and Sean was just out of school at that point. A director named Tony Wharmby said, 'Can he come in and read?' And on his own he did and I'm proud of him taking his work seriously and how he approaches being an actor."

Cheat Sheet also noted that Sean works in the world of stunts. He was a stunt coordinator for Labyrinth and a few other films.

He was also a stunt double for the movies American Reunion and Dumb and Dumber To.

As for acting, Sean has some other roles. He played Jones in the TV movie Thicker, which according to IMDb.com is in post-production. In 2015 and 2016, he was in the short films Takanakuy and Ten Thousand Miles. He also had a part in the 2019 movie Hold On which told a sad story about the music industry.

Mark Harmon's Family Life

According to Country Living, Pam Dawber and Mark Harmon began dating in the 1980s.

The publication notes that Pam was famous because of her shows Mork & Mindy and My Sister Sam. Pam and Mark tied the knot in a small wedding in 1987.

Closer Weekly says that Mark and Pam met at a party as they had a friend in common. Mark has often talked about making sure to balance family with work and that he would never be absent for the "important moments."

According to Country Living, the couple wasn't big on talking about their love story. Pam was interviewed by People after getting engaged and said, "We're not trying to keep something secret, but if you don't want it totally exploited by the press, you have to."

In a 2019 interview with Parade, Mark Harmon shared that he and his wife often shared meals with Ty and Sean and their girlfriends.

He shared with Parade of his wife "There’s no quick answer, no key. I just feel fortunate. She’s a neat lady.”

Even though fans know more about Mark Harmon than his sons, it's true that Mark does value privacy, just like they do. According to Closer Weekly, Mark said, “It’s not even a choice. It’s who we are. We stay home. A lot. I’m not a Twitter guy or a Facebook guy. Our sons aren’t into that, either.”
