Watch The Endearing Moment A Walmart Employee Helps A Collapsed Customer

A Walmart employee who got down on the floor to assist a customer who had passed out is receiving praise once again for his act of kindness.

The heartwarming incident happened about a year ago when a lady who was shopping in the grocery store suddenly collapsed and fell to the floor. She had passed out and lay unconscious for a brief time as she tried to recall what had happened.

The story resurfaced recently when The Good News Network shared this story of a simple act of kindness towards the stranger. The lady was first attended by another fellow shopper, Brittany McKee, who is a registered nurse.

McKee was walking down the refrigerated aisle with her husband when she spotted the lady slumped on the ground. She rushed in to help the distressed woman and stayed with her until she regained consciousness.

However, the real hero of the story, according to McKee, was one of the employees of the Walmart store in Evans, Georgia. In a Facebook post, McKee explains how she conducted an assessment of the lady and the cause of her fall but was totally amazed at the kindness of the Walmart staff.

The post mentions one employee by name, Jason, who “no questions asked got down on the floor with this woman and supported her back so she could lean against him.” McKee was so moved by his kind actions that she photographed Jason as he performed his Good Samaritan deed and shared it in her post.

McKee also states that the lady had probably passed out due to being on blood thinners, which made her dizzy. An ambulance was called, and McKee and a handful of Walmart staff stayed with her until the paramedics arrived.

The selfless support Jason showed to the distressed customer has inspired thousands of people online, and the Facebook post has been shared over 500,000 times. In it, McKee also says that she wanted to share the incident as a way to combat the negative stories often shown in the media.

She writes, “The media lately shows our country divided, filled with hate and racial tension, but this right here was one human being loving and serving another without condition of race or obligation.”

As well as Jason’s willingness to act as a backrest for the lady, McKee also mentions another man who lovingly knelt down to pray for this woman. Although the fall was a scary situation for the lady, it seems the kind actions of the strangers in Walmart that day were a silver lining to the story and have inspired countless others online.
