We all just assume celebrities are perfect. That their waists and tiny, they don’t have cellulite, and nothing but the most attractive features jiggle when they walk. I know many people are self-conscious about these features in themselves. Those features, and their non-symmetrical faces. Now, there are a few celebrities with symmetrical faces, but even the most drop dead gorgeous of them tend to have non-symmetrical faces. To prove the point, we’ve given fifteen of them real symmetrical faces! Believe it or not, that’s the only photoshopping done by us. We chose attractive photos that were as straight as possible and symmetrized those beautiful faces. Not just bad angles so we could distort the photos. You’ll be surprised at the results and you’ll be glad that you don’t have an odd symmetrical face. Some features are so unique, they make you, you!

15 Meryl Streep

Meryl Streep was, and still is, one of the best actresses in Hollywood. But have you ever really studied the symmetry of her face. Well, this is her with a symmetrical face. She’s gorgeous, isn’t she? But…something’s wrong. She isn’t herself. That tiny crook in her nose is absent. She may notice it, but not many of us do. It’s just part of who she is. Now…she looks pretty, but different. As in…too normal. Little things like her even eyes and jawline just take away from her uniqueness. She looks good and you can tell it’s her, but upon first glance, you may not recognize her.

This is a good example of good, natural symmetry that makes you feel just a little uncomfortable. But it’s really not bad.

14 Tina Fey

Yes that is Tina Fey, yes, she kind of looks like Sarah Palin. This is what she would look like if she had a completely symmetrical face. She’s just as pretty, but not as unique. Her quirky smile and tilted nose that we didn’t know we loved are gone. Her eyes are perfectly even and somehow that’s just not okay. These little things made her beautiful. Sure, she still looks good, but it’s not her. It’s kind of creepy how decent she looks yet so unlike herself. And no one’s laugh lines or wrinkles should be symmetrical, it’s weird. Take Palin, I mean Tina Fey, for example.

Not to mention that hairstyle is doing nothing for her. It isn’t awful, but her hairstylist is generally a lot better than that.

13 Harrison Ford

Do you ever notice these crooked celebrity noses? I mean, come on, they make crooked noses look so good! Give Harrison Ford a symmetrical face, take away that crooked nose, and he gets a big tipped nose that does not suit him. Not to mention that normally nice slant in his forehead lines are out the window. Wrinkle symmetry is not good! We talked about this. Sure, he still looks handsome, but not nearly as much so as his natural face. Who knew every feature on his face was non-symmetrical? We do now! What are we learning? Symmetry takes away from character. Just imagine if this face, albeit younger was the face of Han Solo back in the 70s? Good luck with Leia, Han, you’d have needed it.

12 Ryan Gosling

Have you ever noticed how often Ryan Gosling keeps a “straight” face? As in…he is always leaning his head to one side or the other. This is his non-symmetrical face trying to be symmetrical. The man has no symmetry, and that’s a very good thing. This is the first time symmetry actually made a celeb significantly less attractive. I’m fairly sure you don’t believe that this is a straight on photo flipped, and that’s all. How could one of the “hottest men in the world” look like this? Have you ever noticed how Ryan has a slight smirk? How one of his eyebrows is always higher than the other? How one of his nostrils is upturned? All of these things contribute to his attractiveness. Take them away and we get…this.

11 Scarlett Johannsen

Some celebrities you literally can’t make look bad. Like Scarlett Johannsson. But I really did want to throw in a photo to prove that some celebrities actually do have like 90% symmetry. But also, that 10% really does make a bit of difference. Such as that upturned, slight tilted nose or those lips and eyebrows. But there’s one thing that makes Scarlett herself that is absent…can you spot it? Oh yeah, that beauty mark! It’s gone. It’s so signature you’d think it was a tattoo! Having one on each side or none at all takes away from her unique beauty. She looks pretty much the same, but those tiny details really do make a difference. That and her strong shoulders. Who knew one was so dominant?

10 John Travolta

This one is no surprise. John Travolta obviously has a very non-symmetrical face. You can’t give Sandy the smolder with symmetry, you need character. But seriously, did you know it was this bad? Even today, he’s a handsome man, but this symmetrical Travolta is scary. If you don’t believe this is symmetry, just cover up half of his face with a piece of paper or your hand. Better yet, zoom in and view only half of this face. To be so good looking, symmetry looks…not so good on him. And it’s not that hair either, the hair isn’t bad. It’s that nose, those eyes that are so close there must be something going on between them…or nothing. Look at those teeth though. Just as perfect either way!

9 Ariana Grande

Another one that you cannot make look bad, Ariana Grande. She’s perfect, isn’t she? Aside from the non-preventable cross eyes, just look at those eyebrows. Normally, one is higher than the other. And that nose. She’s another who that has one nostril that is bigger and more upturned than the other. Maybe you knew this, but what you didn’t know was that she tells producers, photographers, and others to only shoot her form her left side, her “good” side. We know why now. She’s beautiful no matter what, but this photo is only her right side. She may be more “perfect” but she looks so much better in her natural state. Don’t worry, all “left” side Ariana isn’t that much better, though it does win out over right side Ariana.

8 Harry Styles

Oh my One Direction! Harry…is that you? Why do you do this to us? Who knew his smile was so completely perfectly crooked? That his left eyebrow was so wacky in its own perfect way. A way that drew us to his boyish face. There’s only one thing to say about this: symmetrical Harry Styles is a monster. Even after realizing that this is the “straight” side of his face rather than the one that has the crooked features, we still prefer it. That says a lot. As of today, he’s in the top picks for millennial girls, and with good reason. But it’s really his not perfect side of his face that they all fall for. Take a good look at the real Harry and you’ll notice all of his perfect imperfections.

7 Channing Tatum

Here’s a plot twist. Is it just me or does Channing Tatum look better this way? I think I found his good side. He has always been on the “hot 100” or whatever, but I think he’s getting even better with symmetry. This is why he doesn’t have a symmetrical face, it wouldn’t be fair. Geez! Don’t get me wrong, he looks good no matter what, but this way, we get his good eye, his good ear, the good side of his jaw, nose, and mouth.

This is rare, but it is very possible he looks better with symmetry. What a surprise. Even with the weird lighting. Maybe it’s because we doubled his piercing eye. Or maybe it’s just because anything you do will make him look better? In a good way, of course.

6 Emma Watson

I believe the biggest difference here is that perfect, signature smirk. Her crooked smile is what dreams are made of. Emma Watson has hardly any “imperfections” but the ones that she does have, only make her look better. Such as said smile, uneven jawline, and quirky eyes/eyebrows. She looks beautiful yet again. As I say with most, you just can’t make this woman look bad. But adding symmetry to her face really does bring her down a bit. Mostly because her most endearing features are taken away. I hope this is a lesson to those of you with similar non-symmetrical faces. After all, who doesn’t’ look up to Emma Watson, she’s the role model of 2017. So much class in that woman, crooked smile and all.

5 Jane Seymour

Her nose is crooked and her face is skinny, but aside from that, there’s one huge difference that you may not have noticed. But it’s driving you crazy! Maybe you think it’s her eyes. If so, you’re right. Jane Seymour generally has brown eyes…or at least…eye. For one of them is also green. The truth is that she has Heterochromia iridum, which makes her eyes different colors. Normally, she has one and a half green eyes, but that one half is brown. It makes for a unique beauty we can’t deny.

But besides that difference, the tilted face is just too much. She’s still far from recognizable even with the correct eyes. Her non-symmetrical jawline and smile are undeniably beautiful on her. Thank God for that.

4 Kate Bosworth

Here we have the perfect Kate Bosworth. Who knew her face was one of those 90% symmetrical ones? Sure, her face is a little wide this way. She has two beauty marks. Her ears are too perfect. Her jawline is a tiny bit funky, and here eyebrows look fake. But, there is one giant difference you are missing. That’s her eyes. They look normal to you? Well, are you forgetting that her eyes are not normally both blue? One of them has some brown in it. It is indescribably unique and beautiful.

Without it, she’s not herself. That’s right, Kate Bosworth also has Heterochromia iridum just like Jane Seymour and others, such as Mila Kunis, though hers isn’t as drastic. These celebs make me want this condition!

3 Paris Hilton

That’s some scary stuff right there. Paris is a beautiful girl, but so many of her features depend on being non-symmetrical. Such as that nose. It actually does look “better” this way, but at what cost? Another smile that was so special before...down the drain. We all know that she has that one swanky eye, even if we don’t talk about it. But I guess it’s better than having to swanky eyes. Why? Because one give character, two gives you nightmares. No offense if you have two, for some people can pull it off. Paris Hilton is not one of those people. She reminds me of a Barbie that got too much plastic surgery. Now instead of looking fake, she looks frightening. I liked her before…please bring her back.

2 Taylor Lautner

Rather than find a bad picture, we took a really good picture of Taylor Lautner to symmetrize. He still looks pretty good, yes. But it’s so off he might as well not be attractive. In the early 200s he was the “it” guy with Robert Pattinson. But now, he is more reminiscent of “It” as in Stephen King’s. He looks less intelligent, good looking, and athletic. He’s a good looking guy. But his uneven eyes, quirky smile, and tilted nose really help with that. It truly is an amazing testament here. That it doesn’t take perfection to be attractive. I mean, like I said, 90% of celebrities get their attractiveness form imperfections. Take Dermot Mulroney’s lip. We all saw it and liked it. It just works!

1 Melissa Joan Hart

Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Such a good show, all because of Melissa Joan Hart. Some would say she looks better this way. After all, she too has a crooked mouth, nose, and jawline. But more significant than that is her eyes. They are extremely uneven in case you didn’t notice. But they are so unique that you can’t let them go. You don’t want to. We should like her symmetrical face but she’s a stranger this way. Just like we as humans often frown upon plastic surgery, we frown upon unnatural symmetry. We all have quirks and little imperfections we may be self-conscious about. But have you ever thought these little things were so unique to us that they could be attractive? We’re all different, and it takes asymmetrical views to show us that these differences can be the best things about us.
