'Welcome To Plathville' is TLC's newest hit show, and the Plath family was back tonight for yet another exciting episode. As Ethan and Olivia navigate buying a home away from their family, it seems as if Micah and Moriah Plath are also facing a few challenges. From new relationships to existing issues in Moriah's love life, there's a lot happening under the Plath roof, however, it appears as if Lydia is the one really going through it!

During tonight's episode, the 16-year-old expressed how she's ready for a phone, something she nor any of her siblings are allowed to have. This makes up one of the many strict rules that Plath parents, Kim and Barry make their children follow. With a technology ban being one of them, here are just about all of the rules the 'Welcome To Plathville' family has to follow.

Plath Family Welcome To Plathville

The Plath family grew up in none other than rural Georgia on a 55-acre farm with all 11 members, yes, you read that right, 11! The Plath parents, Kim and Barry have made it clear that they want their kids to grow up a certain way, however, as viewers have begun to notice, these ways are slightly unconventional. The Plath lifestyle has become quite a hot topic among both fans and many members of the Plath family, including eldest siblings, Ethan, Micah, and Moriah, who have all left home after no longer wishing to subscribe to their family's values and beliefs.

During tonight's episode, 16-year-old, Lydia Plath, who is currently the eldest sibling living at home, expressed her desire to get a cell phone, and considering she's never had one before, we don't blame her for wanting one! Although getting a cellphone by middle school has become a common occurrence, that doesn't seem to be the cast for the 'Welcome To Plathville' family, who all have to follow a technology ban. This prompted many fans to wonder what other strict rules the family has to follow, and there's a lot more than just no tech.

In addition to not being able to own any smartphones, no one is allowed to watch TV. This became evident after Micah moved out and opted for no television, as he's "never had one" before. As for younger brother, Isaac Plath, his love for sports is limited to instructional videos rather than televised games, leaving him unaware as to who some of the biggest athletes are, including Tom Brady. Both Kim and Barry homeschool their children, as they do not want any exterior influences impacting their values and beliefs, leading the family to live quite a secluded life from that of the real world.

As if no tech and no friends wasn't tough enough, the Plath kids aren't allowed to eat or drink any sugar! While dad, Barry Plath, never actually gave any reasoning behind this rule, he certainly gets a kick out of his kids not even knowing what Coco-Cola is. Ethan, the eldest sibling, had his first-ever can of Coke after marriage. The star can't even bring himself to eat ice cream, as the "no sugar" rule is so deeply ingrained within him. Despite having to follow some pretty strict guidelines, Ethan, Micah, and Moriah are slowly but surely getting used to setting in place their own set of rules where phones and sugar are allowed!
