The internet has two sides - the good and the bad. Whenever a famous person does something, there's always a group of trolls shaming them and trying to shut them down. One such incident happened when a big fan of the Summertime Sadness singer, Lana Del Rey, shared an image of her new hairstyle.

The original tweet has now been deleted, but the post said, "Lana Del Rey with her new hairstyle at Blankenship Hair Salon in Tulsa, Oklahoma." Lana had recently visited Blankenship Hair Salon in Broken Arrow, Tulsa (where her ex-boyfriend, Sean Larkin, lives), in order to dye her hair.

Within minutes of the post going live, trolls started body-shaming the artist with comments that she should head to the gym, lose some weight, or generally change her appearance. One of the Twitter users went as far as calling her a "square face" after posting an image of her with a middle finger.

Apparently, a few trolls also had a problem with her dyeing her hair blonde, and commented now deleted, "Lana Del Rey is genuinely animorphing into a Karen in real time." The user has since deleted their comment.

Fans started hitting back to trolls and quickly made #WeLoveYouLana a trending hashtag to support their favorite artist. One said, "It's not your turn to judge Lana and teach her how to be a woman. Lana-haters please listen to 'Love' by Lana more times, she will teach you guys how to love and treat people more nicely."

There were a few die-hard fans who even resorted to tweeting that they'd block the accounts of Lana haters. Someone who took the trolling way too personally posted in a now-deleted tweet, "If you fat shame Lana you will be blocked from this account, thank you. Same goes for any other artist. It's not funny and it never was."

People from all around the world wrote about how they loved Lana. The impact was so huge that one of the trolls who called Del Rey racist even ended up deleting their account.

It's not the first time that Lana has been attacked on Twitter. When she expressed criticism of Kanye West in 2018, she got into a feud with Azealia Banks, leading to the rise of another trending Twitter hashtag.

Internet trolls leave no one alone; even Billie Eilish once spoke out about how she felt trapped upon being criticized for her clothing choices. She openly said that she was not responsible for what other people thought of her.

Sadly, it's something celebrities will have to get used to in this world of constant social media exposure; on the bright side though, at least stars like Del Rey have a loyal, loving fanbase to back them up when trolls attack.
