Wendy’s Dropped A Mix On Spotify

Wendy’s just dropped a mixtape on Spotify.

Yes, really. They also put it on Apple Music, too. Why? To throw shade at all their fast food rivals, naturally.

It’s not exactly a magnum opus (or maybe it is, if you’re Wendy), but it’s a 5-song, 10 minute long album that includes such amazing titles as “Twitter Fingers,” “Rest in Grease,” "Clownin," “4 for 4$," and “Holding it Down (featuring Wendy Williams).”

The title of the album is, naturally, We Beefin’?

To give you a taste of what you’re in for, here’s a sample from “Clownin”:

"Got nothin' to hide, we fresh on the side, but you hide from funk

That’s prolly why you go paint your face

My meals are great, people linin' up like everyday

Leave you in shame, make you run back to Cirque du Soleil

That’s cold game, but what you expect from tryna play

Won’t say no names but you a clown, get it, okay?"

We’re pretty sure Ronald McDonald has been hospitalized as a result of this burn. He may even require skin grafts.

But we’re not done. Not by a longshot. Even fried chicken vendors aren’t safe from Wendy’s sick rhymes. From “Holding It Down” we get this gem:

“Wendy's been holdin' it down for like a minute now

Mickey *Bleep* was tryna to beef, it's time to finish now

The team can handle any problem, that's all principal

You get it now, chicken shack, you actin' really wild”

This is utter madness nobody expects from a burger joint.

Although, if you follow Wendy’s on Twitter, it’s exactly what you’ve come to expect from this particular burger joint. Wendy does not play when it comes to her social media presence. She will cut you.

Last year, Wendy got into a rap battle with rival restaurant chain Wingstop. There were some harsh words thrown around, and although things seemed to get left at a draw, we’re certain Wendy is plotting her revenge even now.

We Beefin’? is available now on Spotify, and it is surprisingly good. One might even say better than their burgers.
