It’s hard to believe that Jennifer Aniston has been a household name for nearly 30 years. For many, Friends seems like it only debuted a few years ago, and Jennifer herself never seems to age. If anything, she seems to be getting more beautiful as the years go on.

Fans are curious about how Jennifer has been able to maintain her healthy glow and svelte figure. And while she might have access to the best beauty products and personal trainers available, much of the actress’s look comes down to what she eats.

With reports that Jennifer was put under pressure to lose weight in order to make it in Hollywood, it is reassuring that the actress has been able to develop body confidence and gets plenty of nourishing foods, plus a few indulgences, in her regular diet.

Read on for what Jennifer eats every day, and what her exercise routine looks like.

What Jennifer Aniston Eats In A Day

On any given day, Jennifer Aniston sticks to a healthy diet consisting mostly of whole foods. She has been associated with the Atkins low-carb diet in the past, and her eating plan these days seems to consist mainly of low-carb meals that focus on vegetables and protein rather than starch or sugar.

Byrdie reports that Jennifer always starts her day with a glass of warm water with lemon. Then her breakfast is usually a shake or eggs, which she has with avocado and coconut oil. She also loves smoothies, detailing her favorite ingredients: pure protein, bananas, blueberries, frozen cherries, stevia, green veggies, maca powder, and a little cacao.

Occasionally, she’ll also have a sweeter breakfast in the form of cereal or oatmeal.

“Sometimes, I'll have a puffed millet cereal with a banana or I'll do oatmeal with an egg white whipped in at the end."

The star revealed that her ex Justin Theroux taught her the egg white trick as a way of getting more protein: “Right before [the oatmeal] is finished cooking, you just whip in an egg white and it kind of gives it this fluffy texture that's delicious."

Jennifer’s lunches and dinners often consist of either vegetables or salad with protein, such as a chicken salad or a chicken burger wrapped in lettuce rather than a bun.

Her snacks are also simple and healthy, and include an apple with almond butter, nuts, cut raw vegetables and hard-boiled eggs. She plans ahead and prepares her snacks in advance so she can grab them from her fridge as soon as she feels hungry.

Does Jennifer Aniston Ever Stray From Her Eating Plan?

Most of the time, Jennifer Aniston sticks to her protein-and-vegetable-centered diet. But that’s not to say that there’s no room for other foods occasionally.

According to Byrdie, her favorite indulgence is now pasta, particularly carbonara. Justin Theroux taught her to make it the authentic Italian way using only egg, cheese, bacon, and a little pasta water.

Jennifer has also spoken about her love of pizza and even has a pizza oven in her house. The actress reportedly loves having friends over for pizza nights, where wine from the glass-encased wine room at her house is always on the menu.

Prior to discovering her love of pasta, Jennifer’s favorite indulgence used to be Mexican food.

What Is Jennifer Aniston’s Exercise Routine Like?

Her eating plan is a huge part of her overall healthy lifestyle and key to looking like she’s aging backward, but Jennifer Aniston also incorporates exercise into her daily routine.

In an interview cited by Cosmopolitan, Jennifer shared that she exercises at least five times a week, sometimes up to seven. The actress trains for around 90 minutes at a time, depending on her filming schedule. She particularly loves yoga and spin classes and works with a personal trainer.

She also does interval training on an elliptical machine, which involves sprinting for two minutes, walking for one, for a total of 20 minutes. Another activity that Jennifer loves is boxing.

“There's something about the mental aspect of boxing — the drills, your brain has to work, you're not just sitting on a bike,” she admitted (via Cosmopolitan). “Boxing is a great way to get aggression out. You get a mental release of all this crap you're taking into your ears and eyes every day and have little fantasy moments imagining who you're punching."

Given that she enjoys so many forms of exercise, her trainer likes to switch up her routine so her body is always working different muscles.

“She's consistently being challenged—I'm a big fan of switching things up, so the body reacts in a positive way and changes,” her trainer Leyon Azubuike revealed in an interview (via Hello).

Along with the elliptical machine, boxing, yoga, and spin class, Jennifer enjoys climb class, running, and Pilates.
