They've also gotten along with the same women. Depp and Winona Ryder were once an item and until this very day, the two still have a close relationship, with Ryder stepping up and defending her ex during his tough times in the Amber Heard case.

“I obviously was not there during his marriage to Amber, but, from my experience, which was so wildly different, I was absolutely shocked, confused and upset when I heard the accusations against him. The idea that he is an incredibly violent person is the farthest thing from the Johnny I knew and loved. I cannot wrap my head around these accusations.”

As for Reeves, he also had a very close relationship with Ryder - to this day, both admitted on crushing on one another back

in the day. Keanu would also reveal that the two are possibly married.

"We actually got married in Dracula,” Ryder said at the time. “No, I swear to God, I think we’re married in real life."

"In that scene, Francis [Ford Coppola] used a real Romanian priest,” the Stranger Things star added. “We shot the master and he did the whole thing. So I think we’re married.”

Given that their personal and work lives have somewhat crossed paths, fans are wondering what the two think of each other. Now Depp hasn't said anything, though Reeves on the other hand did have a couple of complimentary comments towards Depp's looks and his career.

Keanu Reeves Thinks Johnny Depp Is Better Looking Than Him

Keanu Reeves is one of the most gracious actors in all of Hollywood. Despite all his success, his temperament has never changed and if anything, he seems to be getting more humble as the years go by.

His assessment of Johnny Depp followed that - Keanu made the claim that Johnny is much better looking than he is.

"And Johnny Depp’s better looking than me," Keanu stated after discussing Depp's career.

Not only did Keanu comment on Depp's looks, but he also credited the actor for his great career, especially his work early on in '21 Jump Street'. Here's what he had to say about his career.

Keanu Reeves Stated That Johnny Depp's Career Went In A Different Direction

At the start of his acting career, Depp didn't have much interest in the field, he was doing it to pay the bills. However, when he was cast in '21 Jump Street', his entire career changed as the actor became a teen idol on television during the late '80s.

Keanu discussed Depp's role on the show and how it was so significant towards Johnny's legacy.

"Johnny Depp had another world happen to him – he got locked into that television series [21 Jump Street], and television is seen by more people than I’ll ever dream of."

Keanu was definitely complimentary towards Depp - though it is interesting to note that after the show, Depp decided to take on projects he was interested in, and not those that would make a bang at the box office.

Of course, that would ultimately change, as Depp broke the banks with 'Pirates of the Caribbean'. Nonetheless, we can safely say that both actors enjoyed great careers - though Depp's took a turn following the Amber Heard situation.
