No matter who they wind up dating, celebrities always attract often unwanted attention in regard to their personal lives. And that's definitely true of Kaley Cuoco, whose love life has often come under fire as critics brand her as being "into" guys who are "a mess."

And that's to say nothing of Pete Davidson, whose relationship history is full of famous names and even more criticism by 'fans.'

But what do fans think of the two potentially dating one another?

What Is Kaley Cuoco And Pete Davidson's Relationship Like?

While Kaley and Pete may have orbited in similar social circles over the years, they didn't really meet up until their recent film project. Then, they got to know one another and built up a friendship, according to people who know them.

Although the timing couldn't have been worse in terms of the negative publicity surrounding Cuoco.

Right after footage of her filming 'Meet Cute' with Pete started making the rounds (including on Kaley's Instagram), her divorce was announced. That meant fans immediately started blaming Pete Davidson for breaking up Kaley and her hubby Karl Cook.

After all, Pete already has a reputation for getting around Hollywood quite a bit -- and attracting all kinds of different partners. But will Kaley be his next leading lady?

Most Fans Think They'll Get Together...

Most online commenters seem to think that Kaley Cuoco and Pete Davidson will get together romantically. The thing is, fans don't think the two will last.

In an online discussion, most fans didn't go so far as to say Pete would be a good rebound, necessarily, but suggested that the two would be a good match for a short-term relationship. Their reasoning? Both halves of this potential couple are "impulsive."

It may seem that way, especially after Pete Davidson's highly-publicized exploits with all his exes, and that quickie engagement with Ariana Grande.

And yet, people seem to think of Kaley as a no-nonsense woman who knows what she wants... But what if she just wants to get married?

Kaley 'Likes To Get Married,' Say Fans

If followers of Ariana Grande and then-fiance Pete Davidson thought that former couple's engagement was quick, they should look at Kaley Cuoco's history, suggest critics. Kaley, after all, has had many high-profile relationships.

She dated Johnny Galecki, sure, but then she was engaged for about six months to a non-famous guy, then married Ryan Sweeting after dating for three months and being engaged for another four.

By 2016, after a brief fling with Henry Cavill, Haley met Karl Cook, and they got married in 2018. All of those relationships hinted to fans that Kaley "seems to have avoidant attachment" because "her marriages never last."

It's quite an assumption, to be fair, but from the outside looking in, fans struggle to understand Kaley's personal relationships (and duh, it's none of their business). Her relationship history has fans thinking, though, that she'll briefly date Pete, possibly because dating him would just plain be fun.

Or, maybe, there's another motivation for their romantic pairing.

Some Say Kaley Might Date Pete For Publicity

Some jaded fans seem to think that Kaley Cuoco would date Pete Davidson just for publicity. While others might assume their shared film project would garner enough publicity for Kaley's career (and personal business), some suggest that Kaley will make some headlines with Pete before leaving him in her famous dust.

One fan put it succinctly: "Dating him seems like a good career move though, his dating life gets so much publicity post Ari." The truth is, Pete Davidon's dating life did get a whole lot more interesting after he split from Ariana Grande.

But does that mean he's just dating for the publicity, too?

Critics Have Called Pete Davidson A 'Serial Dater'

After Pete Davidson dropped his previous girlfriend and stepped out with now-fizzled-out flame Phoebe Dynevor, heads really began to turn. Pete has shacked up with countless famous women, all in different genres and subsets of the entertainment industry.

And that has fans in Kaley's camp thinking he's just after her for even more publicity. If he's a 'serial dater,' as some critics suggest, then maybe Pete did have some homewrecking motives, commenters proposed. Some say "they did seem too cozy" of Kaley and Pete's palling around during their film shoot.

Besides, others noted, Pete has "excessive anxious attachment," which means he's probably already wrapped around Kaley's finger.

Or, *gasp* -- maybe they're just friends. Because it's not the absolute craziest thing for two people to work together on a movie and not fall in love, even if it's a romantic comedy. Right?
