The defamation case between the toxic duo of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard took the internet by storm early 2022. Julia Fox Stands Up For Amber Heard On Instagram
Julia Fox has taken a strong stand for Amber Heard, publicly supporting her on social media platforms, especially comment sections on Instagram. Twitter users began discussing Julia's comment on a fellow Amber Heard supporters post, ostracizing Johnny Depp for manipulating public opinion and reversing the blame onto who she believes to be an innocent woman, Heard herself.
Twitter did not take kindly to Julia's solidarity, and she quickly trended with many hateful comments disappointed in her instagram comments.
The actress claimed that Amber Heard had no power over Johnny to abuse, thus could not be abusive.

Many fans have taken unkindly to this comment, interpreting her statement as a claim that men are incapable of being victims to abuse. This furthers perpetuates the stigma that men are, no matter what, are the perpetrators of abuse in any form.
Fans are bewildered by the fact that Julia Fox acknowledged that Amber Heard physically assaulted Johnny Depp, but rendered it as an act that was not abusive simply because of her age and suggested lack of power.
Amber Heard Is Now Bankrupt
Shortly after the defamation case came to a close, Amber Heard filed for bankruptcy. However, Julia Fox's claim that Heard was financially dependent on Johnny Depp in their relationship is not necessarily a true statement. Heard is an actress who has starred in various well-received movies, even taking on the major role as Mera in DC's Aquaman, to which she was paid $1 million for.
She was able to provide for herself, thus rendering Fox's comment that she did not have financial control, power or flexibility to be untrue.
Prior to Heard losing the defamation case, she had a net worth of over $8 million, and was well sought after in Hollywood roles. She claims that after filing for a restraining order against Depp, her career began its downfall.
