Disney has a track record of churning out hit stars, whether they wind up heading to the bigger screen or diverging onto a musical path, or something else entirely.

From stars like Dove Cameron, who's now a bigger Instagram star than anything else, to Debby Ryan, who's taken a dark turn in her career recently, every fan wants to know where their favorite Disney kids wound up.

In some cases, though, the stars' paths aren't as clear-cut. For example, Selena Gomez's on-screen better half, Jennifer Stone, actually pursued a career entirely separate from her acting work. And of course, some Disney stars fade off the radar entirely.

Which sort of seemed to be the case with the cast of 'Austin & Ally.' But did they really quit appearing on Disney, or in Hollywood altogether?

The key cast members of 'Austin & Ally' graced the show for almost five years, appearing as a close-knit quad who all had musical aspirations. Most notable, of course, were Austin and Ally. Ross Lynch played Austin, while Laura Marano played Ally. Then, to round out the group, there was Raini Rodriguez as Trish and Calum Worthy as Dez.

So where are they now?

Fans will remember that Ross Lynch was in a band with his siblings -- thank you, Disney music video commercials -- but the 25-year-old has been noticeably absent from the mouse-eared channel since 2016.

He has, however, starred in the Netflix series 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.' And, though Ross' family band may not be making albums anymore, he did have some new music in 2020 with another group, The Driver Era.

Laura Marano followed a similar path, though she has stuck around for other Disney projects beyond 'Austin & Ally.' She debuted new music in 2020, starred in a film with her sister (Vanessa Marano, from 'Switched at Birth') in 2019, and has some new projects coming out soon, too.

Raini Rodriguez, who, BTW, is the sister of Rico Rodriguez ('Modern Family'), hasn't dabbled in music much since 'Austin & Ally.' She's still acting a ton, though, in projects like 'Bunk'd' on Disney and voicing characters in a handful of Disney animated series.

Calum Worthy might be the least well-known of the cast, but he's been in some notable productions post-Disney. For one thing, he was in 2019's 'The Act,' but he's also been on similarly non-kid-friendly shows and movies since 'Austin & Ally.'

The best thing about seeing where the cast is today, though, is finding out that they're all still friends. The crew got together on a video call during the pandemic, and they're just as adorable as ever, even if they're no longer running (and constantly messing up at) the music store from A&A.
