It may surprise fans to know, but Entourage's Adrian Grenier has turned out to be just as big as his onscreen persona. The larger than life actor has been quite busy since his time playing a fictional movie star, becoming one himself. Well, he's not necessarily as popular as Vincent Chase was, but he's definitely in the same arena.

Recently, the fake movie star turned real movie star has been shooting for Netflix's Clickbait mini-series. It began filming in December 2019, but due to the pandemic, things came to a halt.

The Netflix mini-series centers around the correlation between our most dangerous impulses and social media, as well as the intricacies within the two mediums. The character-based thriller series will chronicle eight different stories, one of which is about Grenier's character, Nick Brewer.

Netflix's Clickbait

According to a brief synopsis on Deadline, Brewer (Grenier) is a family man with a seemingly perfect life. Good wife, two kids, comfortable home until it all comes crashing down due to Brewer's involvement in a quote-unquote bizarre crime. No other details are known as of yet.

The good news is that production resumed in November 2020. Cast and crew are back in Melbourne, picking up where they left off in March in an effort to get the project completed. An official release date, however, hasn't been announced.

Clickbait will presumably debut at some point in 2021, as long as nothing else hinders shoots. Post-production shouldn't require more than a few months, making a release later this year seem feasible.

Reviving The Victory Garden

In addition to his work on a Netflix mini-series, Grenier is also an avid climate change activist. He's partnered with notable celebrities like Rosario Dawson, Amy Smart, and Paul Blackthorne for Victory Garden, a project championed by Kiss The Ground, a non-profit organization. The cause itself revolves around the simple idea of planting a garden, changing the world in the process. Be it on a patio, backyard, or a couple of pots, every little bit helps.

Keep in mind that there's a history behind the Victory Garden. They trace back to the first World War, wherein "victory gardens" produced millions of tons. Not at the same time, but collected from 20 million gardens, the United States had 8 million tons more of food than their average annual yield.

Today, these lifesaving endeavors are still just as fruitful. Activists like Dawson and Grenier want people to see this and to contribute too. Everyone has the ability to make a difference, and who wouldn't want to have fresh vegetables to eat in their own backyard.

Another integral component of the victory gardens is composting. Kiss The Ground's celeb activists also participated in a video about using mineral-rich organic material to create compost for the previously mentioned home gardens. Some people assume composting can be messy or odorous, but it's not as complicated as one thinks. Rosario Dawson, Amy Smart, and their colleagues do an excellent job explaining the process and benefits of composting, all within the span of six or seven minutes.

All in all, Grenier seems to be keeping busy. Between his climate change efforts and acting, he's always working on something. The question is, what's next for the activist/celebrity?
