His Entrance Into The Marvel Cinematic Universe

To continue his long list of credits and appearances in popular tv shows and movies, Will Poulter is set to make his entrance in the MCU in the upcoming movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. It is being directed by James Gunn, who has stated that Poulter's character is his most favorite. This announcement came about in October 2021. The answer is none other than the 'perfect' being created by scientists, Adam Warlock!

Now, fans might remember this character being mentioned not only in various Marvel Comics, but in the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, Elizabeth Debicki's character, Ayesha, claimed that Adam Warlock is her child, and he is going to be feared.

Whilst presenting a Birth Pod, she says:

"That, my child, is the next step in our evolution. More powerful. More beautiful. More capable of destroying the Guardians of the Galaxy."

Gunn has also further commented that this character will have a more enhanced and dynamic importance later in the MCU. In an interview with ComingSoon in June 2022, Will Poulter discussed the physical challenge and overall taxing journey of preparing for the adored and much anticipated role of Adam Warlock.

“I didn’t actually know about Adam Warlock, if I’m being completely honest, but I was a huge fan of the Guardians franchise, and that for me was kind of the most exciting and the one that appealed to me the most within the Marvel Cinematic Universe ... So I am really delighted to be involved. And I love the character of Adam, and me and [director] James [Gunn’s] sort of vision for him and his journey and really aligned perfectly.
