Yolanda Foster, or as she goes by now, Yolanda Hadid, made her Real Housewives debut back in 2012 when she joined the third season of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. She appeared alongside show veterans Kyle Richards, and Lisa Vanderpump, however, she stepped back from the show in 2016 after four seasons.
The star, who began her career as a supermodel herself, oversaw the rise of her model daughters, who Yolanda now looks just as good after her long battle with Lyme disease. This all came about the same time Yolanda and ex-husband, David Foster announced their split, leaving many to believe this was the catalyst to her departure from the show.
While we know Yo has been managing Gigi and Bella Hadid's modeling careers, along with their younger brother, Anwar, fans are now curious as to what else the former RHOBH star has been up to!
What Has Yolanda Been Up To?
Yolanda Foster is certainly one Real Housewives star that we all miss! After joining the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in its third season, Yolanda brought elegance, charm, and of course, her Dutch ways to the show, which fans adored!
Not only was she the queen of lemons, walk-in fridges, and sweater vests tied around your shoulders, but she was easily one of the most level-headed housewives to grace our screens. In addition to Yolanda being a part of the show, her children, Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid also appeared on camera, giving us a true inside look into just how the Hadid's kick it.
During her time on the show, Yolanda became ill with Lyme disease, which is one reason she, unfortunately, had to step down from the show. After her diagnosis, Yolanda underwent countless procedures to treat herself, which ultimately put a lot of pressure on her marriage to music legend, David Foster.
In 2016, Yolanda announced she would be leaving the show for good! It was then that she focused solely on her recovery and of course, she managed just that. Not only is Yolanda feeling like herself again, but the star is feeling better than ever in a brand new spot!
Since leaving RHOBH, Yolanda has left California and has never looked back! The former supermodel bought a farm in Pennsylvania, which is totally something Yolanda would do. Considering she also oversees and manages the careers of her model kids, it is only fitting for Yolanda to be on the East Coast, where her daughters and son work out of most.
As if that wasn't enough, Yolanda also wrote a book! In 2017, Yo released Believe Me: My Battle with the Invisible Disability of Lyme Disease, mainly as an effort to spread awareness. It was during this time that she also got a spot on her very own reality series.
In 2018, Yolanda became the face of Making A Model with Yolanda Hadid, as a way to find the next biggest supermodel in America. While the concept is by no means new, fans are simply happy to see Yolanda back in her element, and rightfully so!
