Ariana Grande is a fabulous singer, songwriter, and performer. But word is that she is tough to work for. Why? Well, where do we start? There's everything from impossible diva demands, to her unpredictability, to her temper, to her self-centered view of the world. And that's just the beginning.

Sure, she got some sympathy following the terrorist attack on her May 2017 concert in Manchester England. But the signs are that Ariana has not changed one little bit over the years.

It takes a special kind of person to work for her. Employees must be prepared to cater to her every demand and bulldoze anybody who stands in the way of achieving what AG wants. It's a tough life. Working for Ariana is definitely not a career. It's a Resumé filler.

Let's have a look at Ariana Grande, the star and the person, and what it's like to call her boss. It's not very pretty. But it's real.

Diva, Diva, And More Diva

A picture is worth a thousand words. And while Ariana Grande may make fun of those who say she demands to be carried around by her staff, especially when she is tired, these pictures say otherwise. Apparently, she needs to conserve her energy for her performances. Or maybe she is just a demanding diva. You have to have stamina and strength to make the Grande grade.

Another thing to remember: Ariana demands that staff ensure that photographs emphasize her good side, namely the left side of her face. Once she stormed out of a photo session when the photographer was not playing ball. And on another occasion when she was sharing the red carpet with TV presenter Juliana Rancic, Ariana's staff pushed Rancic over to make way for Ariana and her good side. Says Rancic in the understatement of the century, "I think she does have a little bit of a diva thing going on." You have to be a bit of a bully to work for Ariana Grande.

The Infamous Doughnut Licking Episode

Another thing staffers have to remember: Grande does as she pleases. On July 4th of 2015, she was filmed with friends in a doughnut shop. AG actually licked a tray of doughnuts she had no intention of buying and then threw in for free that she hated America and Americans. Her staff was forced to write up an apology. Only thing was, she didn't apologize for licking the doughnuts. She did refer to her "poor choice of words". That's putting it mildly, we think.

She got so much flack about her actions and her lack of remorse that she ended up bending over backward to apologize again and again. Via People, she said, "I feel like seeing a video of yourself behaving poorly that you have no idea was taken is such a rude awakening ... I was so disgusted with myself. I shoved my face in a pillow and wanted to disappear, but instead, I'm going to come forward and own up to what I did and take responsibility."

Well, at last. The staff probably got yelled at afterward.

24/7 Arrogance And Rudeness

Grande's staff has to put up with Ariana's arrogance and rudeness. After meeting the diva Alexander DeLeon, the lead singer of The Cab, said, "Hope none of my fans ever have the displeasure of meeting @ArianaGrande. Most stuck up, disrespectful person I've ever met in this industry."

Nowhere was this arrogance more pronounced than when she wished her loyal fans were dead. In September of 2014, she did a meet and greet with fans in New York City. Said one onlooker, "She did autographs and pics and was all smiles until she got into the elevator. And as soon as the doors shut she said, 'I hope they all f**king die.'" Reportedly, she sometimes charges fans for photo ops. But staff have to ensure that the pictures are taken in the Grande approved way using natural light and, of course, capturing her good side.

She's As Unprofessional As They Come

So what if she has a commitment. If she doesn't want to do it, she doesn't. And often, she won't even let her staff apologize for her bad behavior. Take the time in 2015 she was supposed to appear on the U.K.'s Jonathan Ross Show. Not only did she not show up, neither Ms. Diva nor her staff offered an explanation, let alone an apology. Said Ross, "She was booked by the lazy f***** has not come."

If she does put in an appearance for a TV show or interview, her staff is understanding orders to secure the largest dressing room for her, stocked with whatever food or drink or whatever she fancies that day. Or else.

And we haven't even gotten into her many, many failed romances and feuds.

We trust that this little sampler has totally put you off the idea of maybe even thinking about working for Ariana Grande. Donald Trump would be a walk in the park compared to the pint-sized diva.
