Andrew Byron Bachelor, known as King Bach, is a Canadian-American actor, rapper, internet personality, composer and comedian. He is best known for rising to fame on the now-defunct app, Vine. He had over 11.3 million followers on the app and six billion loops, making him the most followed user on the platform.

King Bach was born in Toronto, Ontario and moved to Florida when he was two years old. He has one younger sister named Christina. Bach graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Business Management.

Social media apps can really jumpstart people's fame nowadays. Shawn Mendes started out on Vine, and now he is one of the most famous popstars in the world. King Bach's YouTube channel, BachelorsPadTV, is still active to this day, where he uploads music, sketches and more. The channel has over 2.5 million subscribers, where he posts a new sketch comedy web series called King Bachelor's Pad. Even if they are short, 10 second clips, Bach still posts videos every day to keep the channel updated. The channel has been covered by several online publications.

7 King Bach's Role On 'House of Lies'

Bach had a recurring role in House of Lies, where he played a character called Chris. He starred in four episodes in 2012. It was his first major acting role, after starring in two short films, SuperCrew and Agent Steele. This is just the beginning of his acting career. 6 King Bach Was On 'The Mindy Project' And More

From independent films to network TV and box office hits, Bach has starred in them all. For five episodes, he starred as Dr. T.J. Gigak in The Mindy Project. He was a regular on Black Jesus throughout seasons one and two. Bachelor made a cameo as himself in the 2015 movie, We Are Your Friends. He was also a co-host of Punk'd in 2015. His other most popular roles were in Fifty Shades of Black, Holidate and To All The Boys I've Loved Before.

5 Bach's Debut Album

Bach released his debut album, Medicine, on August 31, 2019. He released two singles, "Say Daddy" and "HTH." The album included 15 tracks, most of them 30 seconds of less, which made the album only 25 minutes long. Medicine was a comedy album and a musical album, with genres ranging from hip-hop to reggae to comedy. Each song was accompanied by a video.

"I am constantly envisioning stories in my head. Whether they are 6-second stories that I turned into videos on Vine or longer, five-minute sketch videos that I would post on YouTube. I saw the same thing in the music I was making, visual stories. So naturally, I made a visual album," he told Billboard.

4 King Bach Became A Video Game Character

Not everybody gets to say they got a video game character made out of themselves. Bach was a character in Madden NFL 19. Players could be him in the Longshot: Homecoming Mode.

3 King Bach Hosted 'The Streamy's'

King Bach hosted the 6th annual Streamy Awards in 2016. The Streamy Awards honor the best in online video and the creators behind it. He won the "Viner" award at the ceremony the year before.

2 King Bach's TikTok Fame

From one platform to another! Like most millennials and Gen-Z'ers, King Bach is on TikTok. That app is basically the new Vine anyway, but with longer videos. He has 25.4 million followers on TikTok and over 334 million likes. Bach will post behind-the-scenes videos, videos of him dancing, comedy skits and anything funny you can think of.

1 Bach's Comedy Tour

Among anything he does, Bach is an entertainer and comedian. He is taking his 2022 Laugh Now Laugh Later tour to cities across the U.S. The tour started on March 4 and will end on December 3rd. Tickets range in price and could be found on his website.
