If you were a teen or young adult back in the 90s, then “Baywatch” must have been your guilty pleasure. After all, what’s not to like? It’s a show about lifeguards strutting their stuff and taking to the water to save lives. It also didn’t hurt that this long-running series had plenty of eye candy for both men and women.

“Baywatch” was on the air from 1989 to 2001. And during those years, we watched our favorite lifeguards dive headfirst (sometimes literally) into trouble in order to come to a victim’s aid. The success of the show also resulted in the spinoff “Baywatch Nights” and reunion movie “Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.” The show also inspired a remake film later on.

Over time, it has become increasingly difficult to figure out what some of our favorite “Baywatch” stars have been up to. And so, we decided to do everyone a favor and find out:

20 Gena Lee Nolin

Actress Gena Lee Nolin portrayed the role of lifeguard Neely Capshaw. After working on the show, Nolin went on to portray the title role in the tv series “Sheena.” Meanwhile, she also starred in the tv movie “Sharknado 4: The 4th Awakens.” In recent years, Nolin has not been active in film or television. After welcoming her daughter in 2008 with third husband Cale Hulse, she was also diagnosed with Hashimoto’s Disease.

19 Kelly Packard

On the show, Kelly Packard played the role of April Giminski. After appearing on “Baywatch,” Packard gained fame as a field correspondent on the tv series documentary “Ripley’s Believe It or Not!” Meanwhile, she also participated as a celebrity contestant on the tv series “Pyramid” and “Search Party.” In 2014, she also appeared with her husband and four children on “Celebrity Wife Swap,” according to E! News.

18 Traci Bingham

On Baywatch, actress Traci Bingham starred as Jordan Tate. After working on the show, Bingham went on to star in the 1999 tv series “The Dream Team.” She also played some small roles in sitcoms. Meanwhile, she also appeared on “Celebrity Big Brother,” “Celebrity Paranormal Project,” “Fear Factor,” “The Surreal Life: Fame Games,” and “Gimme My Reality Show!”

17 Yasmine Bleeth

As you may know, Yasmine Bleeth played the role of lifeguard Caroline Holden in the tv series. After working on the show, Bleeth went on to appear in movies such as “BASEketball,” “Coming Soon,” “Undercover Angel,” and “Goodbye, Casanova.” She also starred in tv series, such as “Nash Bridges” and Titans.” In recent years, Bleeth hasn’t really been seen or heard from. Although, in 2015, Daily Mail reported that Bleeth was spotted taking a stroll with her husband, Paul Cerrito, in Hollywood.

16 Nicole Eggert

In “Baywatch,” Nicole Eggert starred as the adorable lifeguard Summer Quinn. Prior to this role, Eggert had been known for playing the role of Jamie Powell in the popular tv comedy “Charles in Charge.” Meanwhile, after her work on “Baywatch,” Eggert went on to star in a number of minor films and tv movies. Based on the IMDb database, her most recent project was the tv movie “Where’s the Love” in 2014.

15 Alexandra Paul

On the show, Alexandra Paul was lifeguard Stephanie Holden who eventually became Mitch’s love interest. After the show, Paul went on to pick up other tv roles for series such as “Melrose Place” and “L.A. Firefighters.” Over the years, Paul has also been starring in several tv movies, including “Born and Missing” in 2017.

14 Carmen Electra

On “Baywatch,” Carmen Electra portrayed the role of lifeguard Lani McKenzie. Unlike most of the show’s cast, Electra’s character only appeared for 22 episodes, according to IMDb. After that, she went on to do movies, such as “Scary Movie 4,” “I Want Candy,” “Disaster Movie,” “Book of Fire,” and “Chocolate City.” In 2016, she also appeared as herself in an episode of “Jane the Virgin.”

13 Brooke Burns

On the show, Brooke Burns played the role of lifeguard Jessie Owens. And according to the IMDb database, her character appeared for 46 episodes. Following the show, Burns went on to appear in various films, including “Shallow Hal,” “The Art of Travel,” “I’ll Come Running,” and “Where Hope Goes.” In recent years, she has also been starring in the mystery film series “Gourmet Detective.”

12 Mila Kunis

Believe it or not, one of actress Mila Kunis’ first roles involved a guesting on Baywatch. She made an appearance in an episode entitled “Aftershock.” Here, Kunis played the role of a beach-going student by the name of Annie. And according to Hello Giggles, her character knew “a lot about the ocean.”

11 Once Again, Mila Kunis

Apparently, Kunis was such a hit on the show that she appeared for another episode. This time, her role was more complicated since she played a blind young woman by the name of Bonnie. During an episode entitled “Hotstuff,” Kunis’ character and her friends get lost in the woods as a bush fire breaks out around them. As Kunis recalled, the episode also got weird soon after. She told New York Daily News, “It was absurd. There's a fire, I get saved, and then I go boogie-boarding. I remember thinking, Well, if I'm blind, how am I boogie-boarding?”

10 David Chokachi

On “Baywatch,” actor David Chokachi starred as lifeguard Cody Madison. When he stopped working on the show after 1999, Chokachi went on to star in the tv series “Witchblade” and “Beyond the Break.” He also starred in a number of movies over the years. These include “Murder Dot Com,” “Costa Rican Summer,” “The Ascent,” “Devour,” and “Soul Surfer.” According to IMDb records, he’s appeared in two films so far this year, “Sensory Perception” and “Emerald Run.”

9 Jason Simmons

On “Baywatch,” actor Jason Simmons starred as Logan Fowler. After working on the show, Simmons went on to appear in films such as “Frankenstein Reborn!,” “The Devil’s Tattoo,” “Mad Cowgirl,” “Bloody Mary” and the tv movie “Sharknado.”

8 Parker Stevenson

Parker Stevenson’s Hollywood career took way before he took on the role of Craig Pomeroy on “Baywatch.” Prior to that, he already starred in tv series such as “Probe,” and “Melrose Place.” Over the years too, he has starred in tv movies such as “Terror Peak,” “Win, Lose or Love,” “A Christmas Reunion” and “The Perfect Daughter.” In recent years, he has also been playing the role of Louis Osmond in the Netflix tv series “Greenhouse Academy.”

7 Michael Bergin

On the show, actor Michael Bergin portrayed the role of lifeguard J.D. Darius. Following this, he starred on the tv series “Passions” as Nick Bozman. Over the years, Bergin also found roles in various tv movies, including “The Wrong Stepmother,” “A Husband for Christmas,” “His Double Life,” and “12 Wishes of Christmas.” Today, Bergin also happens to a successful real estate agent and is now the Luxury Estate Director of The Bergin Group.

6 Michael Newman

Michael Newman starred as Michael “Newmie” Newman throughout the show’s run. He was not just an actor. He was also the only real-life lifeguard in the series. During an interview with MailOnline, he recalled, “I’d teach them how to run with the lifeguard can and how to swim with your head up and get the basics down, so that when Pamela Anderson ran with the can it didn’t look like she was holding a purse!” In 2011, Newman revealed he was battling Parkinson’s Disease.

5 Jeremy Jackson

Throughout the show, Jeremy Jackson played Mitch Buchannon’s son, Hobie. After working on the show, Jackson also went on to appear in the films “Blood Effects” and “Dreams.” As he got older, Jackson also found himself getting into trouble more and more. According to a report from People, Jackson ended up getting arrested when he was 19. As Jackson recalled, “I was leaving a residence with two duffel bags full of everything you need to cook crystal meth.”

4 David Charvet

Actor David Charvet portrayed the role of lifeguard Matt Brody. And during his final year with the show, Charvet went on to star in popular tv series “Melrose Place.” Soon after, Charvet only went on to do a few more tv and film projects. His most recent appearance was on the reality show “The Apprentice” in 2017. Meanwhile, in 2018, reports emerged that Charvet was divorcing from his wife, Brooke Burke.

3 Jason Momoa

On “Baywatch,” actor Jason Momoa played the role of lifeguard Jason Ione. According to the IMDb database, Momoa’s character ended up appearing for as many as 44 episodes. It also happens to the very first credit he received as an actor. In 2003, Momoa also reprised his character in the movie “Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.”

2 Pamela Anderson

As you may recall, actress Pamela Anderson played the famous role of lifeguard CJ Parker on the show. Her character had become so iconic that even today, many still associate Anderson with the role. Following “Baywatch,” Anderson went on to star in the tv series “V.I.P.,” “Stripperella,” “8 Simple Rules,” “Stacked,” “Package Deal,” and “Sur-Vie.” She also appeared in a number of movies, including “Blonde and Blonder,” “Superhero Movie,” “Jackhammer,” “Scary Movie 3” and of course, “Barb Wire.” Anderson also appeared in the movie remake of “Baywatch.”

1 David Hasselhoff

Of all the characters in “Baywatch,” David Hasselhoff’s Mitch Buchannon may well be the most popular character in the series. Around this time, Hasselhoff was also quite a popular actor since he starred in the equally famous tv series Knight Rider in the 80s. Following “Baywatch,” Hasselhoff went to do several movies, including “Fugitives Run,” “Click,” and “Piranha 3DD.” He also made a cameo in the 2017 “Baywatch” film.
