Justin Brescia has always been the bad boy of the show, however, he admitted he prefers the way he was portrayed in the sequel. Here's what Justin told the Daily News:

"I love the way it was shot before. I thought that it was shot really beautifully. Did I agree with the storylines and how they made me look? No, because it wasn’t true. This time around, I think it’s shot a little bit more quick to my liking. ... But I do agree with the storylines and basically what we’re saying and doing is coming out on TV. And that little bit means more to me than some of the scenic stuff."

6 Brody Jenner Said There Was Some Talk Of The Cast Renting A House Together For Season Two

Because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, plenty of shows had to be put on pause. An easy way for The Hills: New Beginnings to continue shooting would have been to put the cast in a house together. However, Brody Jenner told ET Canada that he thought that was a horrible idea. Here's what Brody said:

"I wanted to keep it as authentic as possible to the original and I think The Hills was about Hollywood. Granted it was Lauren Conrad and she was working at Teen Vogue and doing all the fashion, so it’s a little different, but I just felt like going and filming in a bubble was just not ‘The Hills. I wanted to showcase what was really going on in our lives [this season]. Living in a house altogether is really not reality. None of us would ever do that in a million years. That’s a totally different show."

5 Brandon Thomas Lee Said Its Awkward To Watch His Relationship With His Ex, Daniella Beckerman

Brandon Thomas was dating Daniella Beckerman pretty much through all of season two of The Hills: New Beginning — however, the couple isn't together anymore. Here's what Brandon told ET Canada about having to relive things:

"It’s definitely hard to go through a relationship that is actually great and then for things to happen, and then to have to watch the good parts of a relationship that is over back is just weird. Usually, you try to think about like this is what happened, this was bad, let’s move on. You don’t really want to watch a highlight reel of your relationship with your ex, it’s just kind of weird."

3 Jason Wahler Shared His Reason For Doing The Reboot

Jason Wahler revealed his personal reason for deciding to join the cast of The Hills: New Beginnings. Here's what the star said:

"10 or 12 years ago I went through a very public battle with addiction, you know, and for me to come back and be sober now, and to show what recovery looks like … it’s a great opportunity, to come back and be able to show that life in recovery is absolutely amazing and you can actually find a life that’s worth living."

2 Stephanie Pratt Said The Show Is Full Of Drama

While Stephanie Pratt — who is an OG cast member — was a main character of season one, the reality television star decided not to come back for season two. However, Stefanie did say that the reboot is full of drama — and that's probably the reason she left:

"From the first five minutes, it’s just drama. It’s really lingered over, so it’s going to be an awkward press run with everyone this week."
