The first Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie hit theaters in 2005 shedding light on what true friendship really looks like between teenage girls. The movie followed four very different girls as they parted ways for the summer to do different things and handle different obligations.
The one thing that was able to keep the girls connected all summer long was a magical pair of pants that somehow magically fit all of their separate body types. Movies that are this insightful about the pains and highlights of being a teenager are few and far between. In 2017, she took home a Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for her work in The Handmaid's Tale. The Hulu show has been extremely popular since it got started.
