The Meghan Markle exclusive with none other than Oprah Winfrey really sent shockwaves across the globe.

The 2-hour special navigated Meghan's experience as a member of the Royal Family and the torment she faced, similarly to that of Princess Diana, so much to the point that Markle revealed she had thoughts of suicide.

The interview went on to become an international discussion, which sparked questions regarding racism in the British royal family after Meghan revealed that there had been "concerns" regarding the color of she and Prince Harry's first-born, Archie.

One media figure that couldn't stop talking about the interview was Good Morning Britain host, Piers Morgan. The star went on to accuse Meghan of downright lying about her experiences and claimed that her remarks about racism in Buckingham Palace were false.

Piers later stepped down from his hosting duties following public outrage over his comments. Well, one person who didn't take this very lightly was Sharon Osbourne, who remains a close friend of Piers'.

As the ladies of The Talk began to discuss the matter, Sharon and fellow co-host, Sheryl Underwood got into a heated exchange over claims of racism and whether Piers himself has to look in the mirror.

The argument led Sheryl to tears, which had Osbourne furious, telling Underwood that "if anything should be crying, it's me!" Viewers immediately turned against Sharon for her offensive approach to the conversation, which ultimately landed her in the hot seat.

After weeks of the network doing an internal investigation, Sharon stepped down from The Talk for good. Now, the show has finally made its return after a month-long hiatus, and Shery Underwood is speaking out about the "traumatic" event.

Following Sharon's departure from the show, the British star had texted Sheryl Underwood with an alleged apology, however, Underwood made it clear that she did not look at nor acknowledge the messages at the time as she didn't know if she was allowed to while the show was under investigation.

Sheryl opened the return of the show with dialogue on the events that had transpired a month earlier.

"Over the next hour, we will honestly discuss what occurred and explore some of our feelings. And we'll also show you how anyone can become more comfortable discussing important issues," Sheryl said.

As the conversation continued with the rest of the co-hosts, Sheryl explained how she felt a strong urge to remain calm and collected during her argument with Sharon as she did not want to come off as the "angry black woman."

After discussing the text messages she did receive from Sharon, Sheryl went on to reveal where the two stand today, and whether they have spoken. Well, despite Sharon's attempt at reaching out via text, Sheryl made it clear that she has not heard from her since.

"I want to clear something up. There was a discussion about Sharon and I communicating with each other," Underwood said on Monday. "I have not spoken to [her], and do not have any phone call, missed or received, that I can find in my phone [from her]."

Although the event remains a hot topic on the show, fans are excited to see their favs back in action.
