12 Aries: Cousin Eddie

Dear Aries, you may want to fight this one, but there is no use in denying the facts. You ARE Cousin Eddie from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! Why? Well, it's simple really. Just like Cousin Eddie, you are dedicated to your family, the spirit of the holidays and marching to the beat of your own drum.

During the holidays, Aries will spend a lot of time making sure that everything is just perfect for their families and friends. They will spend extra time on the little things, making sure every detail is carefully considered. BUT that doesn't mean that it will come easy for them. Aries has a tendency to go a little overboard (and possibly out of control) during this time of year. But don't worry, Aries can easily turn any disaster around with their energy, excitement and tenacity. And in the end, Aries will be able to join in on the laughter, possibly at their own expense.

11 Taurus: Willie Stokes

Via: giphy.com

On the surface, Taurus may feel insulted by this character. How could an amazing person be like Willie Stokes from Bad Santa? Well, looks could be deceiving, dear Taurus. You ARE Willie Stokes—just think about it! If we strip Willie of all his indecencies like theft, sleeping around, drinking, etc., then we would find a very complex character. When Willie takes a liking to Thurman Merman, a kid who reminds him of himself, Willie gets more than he bargained for. What follows is a series of hijinks and violence that Willie was not expecting during the holidays. And what we see from Willie in the process is very important—that he is, despite his wrongdoings, a man with a lot of heart.

Taurus, you are known to be incredibly stubborn but what others often miss is your generous and caring heart. Around the holidays, you will work hard to show those around you that you care for them...even if that means getting yourself into a little trouble in the process. Remember to take care of yourself during the holidays. Go ahead, have a drink or two and celebrate!

10 Gemini: Kevin McCallister

Via: giphy.com

Gemini, you are without a doubt, Kevin McCallister from Home Alone! When Kevin is accidentally abandoned by his family before Christmas, he is forced to not only survive alone, but also to defend himself against home burglars, Harry and Marv. This results in hilarious antics that every child of his generation only dreamed of.

Just like Kevin, Geminis are resourceful, intelligent and creative. In fact, there are no other signs that could outsmart two adult men quite like a Gemini. Gemini is also fiercely independent and can easily amuse themselves during the holidays. They could easily be reading a book in the corner of the living room while others are opening presents, or playing games with the kids on the floor. They're unpredictable and that's what makes them highly entertaining and fun to be around, especially around this time of year.

9 Cancer: Buddy

Via: tumblr.com

We can't think of anyone that didn't want to be friends with Buddy from Elf. Although sometimes a little too enthusiastic in his delivery, you couldn't help but feel the holiday cheer radiating out of him. And that's exactly what it's like to be a Cancer around this time of year!

Cancer, you love the holidays! In fact, you LIVE for the holidays. Just like Buddy, you are known to go above and beyond typical holiday traditions. One Christmas tree? No, not you. You have four! You even spend days decorating your entire house...the ENTIRE house. You want everything to be perfect, including your very own winter wonderland in your very own living room. And that Christmas party you host every year, well, you pride yourself on having the best holiday party known to man.

It's hard to not feel excited about the holidays around a Cancer, but they need to remember to not take it personally when others don't feel the same way they do. They shouldn't worry, it will rub off a little bit on others. Everyone is depending on Cancers to bring the holiday cheer! So, they shouldn't get discouraged; that's what we love most about them.

8 Leo: Ghost of Christmas Past

Via: giphy.com

Leos are, without a doubt, the vivacious character, Ghost of Christmas Past from the movie Scrooged. Why? Just like her, Leos are bubbly, feisty and will sometimes use violence to get their point across. This is never done with ill intent, unless you've hurt poor Leos feelings, but you can't deny that their excitement for things can sometimes push physical boundaries.

Like the Ghost of Christmas Past says, "Sometimes the truth is painful..." And leave it to Leo to start an unnecessary argument over holiday dinners or throw a temper tantrum for not receiving the gift they wanted. Okay, we're exaggerating a bit here. It's more than likely that they'll become upset that you didn't get as excited about that amazing gift they bought you like they did. Leos have a lot of pride and want to share their generous hearts with those they love. They want that ideal perfect holiday but they would benefit from relaxing during the holidays and just going with the flow.

7 Virgo: Susan Walker

Via: giphy.com

Like Susan Walker from Miracle on 34th Street, Virgos are painfully intelligent and often unimpressed with holiday traditions. Chances are, they knew Santa wasn't real from the very beginning but played along for the sake of their parents' excitement. Virgos don't often look at the holiday season with rose-tinted glasses; they see it for what it truly is. This can sometimes bring down those around them, especially if others are highly enthusiastic and celebratory around this time of year.

It can take a miracle for a Virgo to get excited about the holidays, just like it took Susan in the film to believe in Santa and Christmas miracles. Often, Virgo will change their outlook when they have their own children, desiring to give them something that they didn't have. And when it's time, they will embrace holiday tradition with open arms. Because when they succumb to the holidays, they truly have an amazing time being with friends and family (something they treasure very much). Just remember to stay calm, dear Virgo. You can easily become stressed throughout the holiday.

6 Libra: Bridget Jones

Via: giphy.com

Just like Bridget Jones, Libra has a love/hate relationship with the holiday season. Bridget, who is a very calm, social and warm-hearted, loves to be around family, but doesn't necessarily enjoy being around the WHOLE family. This is just like a Libra.

Libra enjoys any type of fun and social setting, but truly despises situations that can make them feel uncomfortable or situations that disrupt their peaceful nature. They don't do well with political discussions at the dinner table, or relatives asking them why they're single during the holidays. They would much rather enjoy a drink or two, play a fun game and relax with those closest to them.

Libra also has no problem spending the holidays alone, or with their own family, away from the hum-drum of annual traditions. In fact, they often like to create their own traditions—something that highlights their unique, fun and heartfelt demeanor.

5 Scorpio: The Grinch

Via: Quickmeme.com

Please don't get offended, Scorpio. It's not that you're a holiday Grinch but, well, we guess, you kind of are. At least, that's what others may think about you.

No other sign marches to the beat of their own drum quite like a Scorpio around the holidays. They may not want to take part in family traditions, but that doesn't mean that they won't celebrate. Instead, they may opt to take a solo vacation around the holidays, preferring to sit on the beach in a faraway land with a Mai Tai in hand (rather than fighting with their siblings or family members around the dinner table). Even if they have children, Scorpio will take part in very few traditions and opt for creating their very own new ones.

Despite that, Scorpio has a generous heart for those closest to them and will do everything in their power to give them the best holiday they can.

4 Sagittarius: Billy Mack

Via: giphy.com

Just like Billy Mack from Love Actually, Sagittarius speak the truth and nothing but the truth...so help all those around them. And just like Billy, Sagittarius are quirky and fun to be around during the holidays, as long as they're having fun themselves.

In a good holiday mood, Sagittarius can be incredibly generous around the holidays. They will give their time and energy, without any expectations. They can truly be the belle of the ball, the clown of the hour, the hostess with the most-ess. But they must be warned, although many people love their honesty and independence, those are the very things that can damper the holidays.

Sagittarius, remember to pick your battles. You don't need to be THAT honest. Maybe Uncle Bob knows that his Christmas sweater is a little too tight. You don't need to say it, trust us.

3 Capricorn: Jovie

Via: giphy.com

In Elf, Jovie is not only the love interest of Buddy the elf but is also the heroine of the film. It was Jovie who faced her fear of singing in front of a large crowd that ultimately allows her to help save Christmas. And just like Jovie, Capricorn—as much as they may deny it—truly believe in the magic of the holiday season.

Capricorn are incredibly practical. Like Jovie, they would rather buy gifts based on need than want. And they love to receive practical gifts that help them organize or save their treasures. Capricorn love to host holiday parties and are easily seen as the ultimate host. But to get them to attend another party...well, that's a different story.

It's not that they don't enjoy party-hopping during the holidays, they would just much rather host or stay at home. But when out, they often don't regret their decision and have a wonderful time.

2 Aquarius: Ralphie Parker

Via: giphy.com

Like Ralphie Parker in A Christmas Story, Aquarius know what they want, but are just a little to afraid to admit it to those around them. Sure, Aquarius are generous to a fault—they will often do everything in their power to give to those around them, providing the best holiday ever, but fall short on satisfying their own needs. Thus, making them feel resentful or regretful during this time of year.

Aquarius like Ralphie need to learn how to speak up for themselves and to not hold in emotionally during the holidays. This doesn't mean that they need to start the Third World War at the holiday dinner table, or get into a pesky fight with the neighbor kids, but they need to honor their own feelings. And if anything, they would be wise to learn how to treat themselves during this season of giving. There's nothing wrong with it, trust us!

1  Pisces: Sally

Via: thenightmarebeforechristmas.wikia.com

Sally in The Nightmare Before Christmas is the ultimate romantic, very much like a true Pisces. Like Sally, many Pisces men and women are crafty, or at the very least, enjoy art and crafts, and will indulge from time to time. This is the zodiac sign that will make you handmade gifts, often putting their hearts and souls into their creation. They truly desire that ideal, picture-perfect holiday and will not be happy with anything less.

Like Sally, Pisces don't have the easiest time succumbing to their own emotions. They often fall short on telling those they care about how much they do, in fact, care for them. This is why it's incredibly important to thank them for their holiday gifts. Because in a way, they're not just giving a gift as much as they're giving their hearts. They would be wise to remember that not every holiday will be perfect and to enjoy the off times as much as the good times. It will cause less stress on their fragile hearts.
