Model Ashley Graham is undeniably gorgeous. Her voluptuous figure isn’t the “norm” in the industry, but she has broken barriers with her body image.

Fans adore her beauty and boldness, and her shape has paved the way for other models of all sizes to pursue their dreams of becoming a model.

Sexy On Sports Illustrated

When Graham graced the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, it was a major moment for the model. It was also an important milestone in the magazine’s history, having never before featured a model on the front cover who looked like Graham.

With all the positive responses to the cover, there were still some who didn’t care to see a “plus-size” model in the top spot.

“Too Big” To Be Beautiful

According to Page Six, Graham was interviewed by fellow model, Naomi Campbell on her No Filter With Naomi YouTube series.

Graham told Campbell about a model who basically said Graham was too fat to be featured. Winds up, it was Cheryl Tiegs.

As per Page Six, in 2016, Tiegs told E! News, “Actually I don’t like it that we’re talking about full-figured women because it’s glamorizing them and your waist should be smaller than 35 [inches].” She went on to compliment Graham’s face, but it was a little late for that.

Take That, Tiegs

Does Graham care what others think? Not much. She’s super confident and embraces her body.

As we recently reported on The Things, even when Graham gained 50 pounds during her pregnancy, she was fine with the fluctuation. She was taking care of her body, eating well, and exercising.

Tiegs later apologized and took to Twitter to post, “My sincere apologies to everyone I have hurt. I truly just want everyone to be healthy & happy.”

Looks like Graham is just that, and she didn’t need Cheryl Tiegs’ blessing to do so.
