Nick and Vanessa Lachey are staying busy with their new Netflix series. Shortly after the finale of season 2 of Love Is Blind, they released the first eight episodes of a new show, titled The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On. With a drama-filled cast, the Lachey's have given viewers another crazy show to binge-watch. Netflix premiered the entire first season, excluding the finale and reunion, giving viewers something to hold onto for one more week. Six couples join together after one person from each relationship has given their partner an ultimatum: get married or break up.
After getting to know each member from the other five couples for a week, every cast member chooses who they want to experience a trial marriage with. The trial couple will spend three weeks together, before they go back to their original partner for three weeks. In the end, they either get married, get together with their new partner, or go home alone. It is taking an ultimatum to the next level, and everyone on the show is looking to grow as both an individual and in their relationships.
6 The Original Couples
The show starts out with six original couples, but quickly dwindles down to four remaining. During the choosing dinner, two couples end up engaged, leaving everyone shocked and confused. Fans have a hard time rooting for any couple with all the drama that comes from the show, but a few original couples seem to have a better chance than others.
5 Hunter And Alexis
Hunter and Alexis don't even make it past the choosing dinner, because after Alexis declares her love for her boyfriend, Hunter stands up to propose. While lots of viewers aren't fans of Alexis, they are rooting for her relationship with Hunter. Immediately following their proposal, Nate and Lauren make themselves hated by viewers. When Nate realizes that every girl that he is interested in has chosen other men, he shocks everyone by proposing to his girlfriend, Lauren. Even more shocking, is when Lauren, who issued the ultimatum, says 'yes.'
4 Randall And Shanique
Randall and Shanique have their fair share of issues, but out of the six original couples, this is one of the only relationships that fans believe stand a chance of ending up together. Fans are left very confused about Randall's feelings, intentions, and overall decisions while on the show. He chose to go through a trial marriage with Madlyn, who is arguably the most unlikeable cast member this season. Shanique shows a level of respect for her trial marriage partner, Zay, but it doesn't look like she will be leaving Randall anytime soon.
3 The Trial Couples
After dating five people during the first week, everyone chooses one person to go through a trial marriage with. It quickly becomes four couples, with three choosing their new partners. Only one couple didn't initially pick one another, but are open to the experiment and want to give one another a chance.
2 Jake And Rae
Jake goes into the show not wanting to be there, just waiting for the three weeks to be over so he can return to his girlfriend, April. However, he quickly realizes that the grass might be greener on the other side after all. Jake forms a clear connection with Rae, and they seem to be the fan-favorite to end up together. Rae breaks up with her boyfriend Zay, but Jake isn't quite ready to let go of either Rae or April. Fans see a different side of Jake when he is with Rae, but he is still holding on to April.
1 Colby And April
In a twist that fans end up loving, Colby and April show some sparks between each other on their last night in their trial marriage. While they are the only trial couple that didn't initially choose one another, Colby and April were both very open to the experience and wanted to make the most out of the experiment. The two showed a strong friendship throughout the three weeks, fans are hoping for a romantic relationship to form. They do end up sharing a romantic moment on their last night, and fans are left wondering what will happen.
