Things between them got messy and a custody battle is still going on.
While their legal battle stretched across years and lawsuits flying between the exes, Brad has finally moved on from his ex-wife as he is back in the dating pool. The actor is reportedly dating while living his “best life” but is not in a serious relationship. Has he actually moved on from Angelina Jolie?

After six years of a messy divorce with Angelina Jolie and dealing with depression, the Hollywood actor has now reportedly moved on from his past and is living his best life as he is dating again. An insider told In Touch that Brad is back in the game but only involved in a fling.
The source said that the actor is strictly dating for fun, adding: “Brad has been keeping a low profile lately. He did a lot of internal work after splitting with Angelina, and he is pretty focused on work and other new ventures right now. He loves design and architecture and real estate and is immersing himself in things that make him feel happy and fulfilled.”
Brad Doesn't Need A Serious Relationship Right Now
While the insider dropped the morsel about Brad’s romantic life and described him as “dating,” the actor is actually not interested in a serious relationship.
The insider said, “Brad decided that he is not interested in a committed relationship at the moment. He doesn’t want to step out at hot spots and get photographed. He is tired of being judged for every move he makes.”
It is true that he is having “no trouble meeting women,” but he has reportedly “no interest in settling down,” and that he has “best of both worlds” right now. Just because the actor is back on the dating game, it doesn’t mean however that he’s ready to jump headfirst into a serious relationship.
He seems more focused on buying a $40 million castle home in Carmel, California, exploring his sense of style, and hanging out with a group of “artsy friends.” Unfortunately, the insider hasn’t revealed any details about the woman Brad is dating.
Brad Is Focusing On His Kids And Social Life
In terms of Brad Pitt’s dating life, things are going well and he’s enjoying his social life. The source of People’s Magazine said: “He has a large group of artsy friends in L.A. that he hangs out with. He’s dating but is not in a serious relationship.” While dating speculations continue, the actor makes it a point to spend time with his children.
The source revealed, “Brad has dinner with his younger kids when they are all in L.A. Since the kids are older now, they have their own life and friends. Brad still has a pretty good relationship with them.” After divorcing in 2016, Brad and Angelina have been working hard to be exceptional parents to their children.
The actor is a father to six children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Vivienne and Knox. Aside from making sure of spending time with his kids, he has other things that he’s focused on. The insider added, “Brad has his movies, he has Miraval and he has these other [passions]. He loves architecture, he loves creativity. He’s living his best life under the circumstances.”
It can be remembered that Brad had suffered low-grade depression since his divorce from Angelina Jolie. Fortunately, his story of depression has a hopeful note. He’s able to squeeze out little joy from the darkest moments of his life. The actor while opening up about his mental health also maintained that while music fills him with a lot of joy, he thinks “all hearts are broken.”
But his efforts at finding happiness seem to be working. Hopefully, the door to his heart will be opened as he jumps into the dating pool again.
Currently, Brad Pitt is still slated for acting gigs this year, including director David Leitch’s action blockbuster, Bullet Train, which is about the five assassins aboard a fast-moving train. He is also set to be seen in the historical drama film, Babylon. With all these projects under his name, he has plenty of reasons to find joy in what life has to offer him.
