Before he shared a duet with Taylor Swift, a lot of people probably recognized Brendon Urie far better as part of Panic! At the Disco. But his solo venture helped him stand out, and fans developed a new fascination with the pop-rock singer turned Twitch streamer.

But to fans' disappointment, Brendon Urie has been totally taken since at least 2013, when he got married to his long-term partner. So who is Brendon's wife, and what does she do?

Who Is Brendon Urie's Wife And How Did They Meet?

Brendon Urie's wife is Sarah Urie, nee Orzechowski, who he actually met at one of his concerts. Unfortunately, Sarah was with someone else at the time and was attending her concert with a friend who knew the band.

Brendon confessed that he saw her outside his tour bus and thought she was the "most gorgeous creature" he'd ever seen. The two spent time getting to know one another, Urie explained, including having drinks together.

But by the end of the night, he learned that she was dating someone else, so they went their separate ways. For about eight months, Brendon didn't see Sarah.

Fortunately, months later, Hayley Williams (yes, from Paramore) brought Sarah to another of Panic! At the Disco's concerts. Sarah, then single, was more than happy to reconnect with Brendon.

Does Brendon Urie Have Kids With His Wife?

The two share two "fur kids," per Brendon, but a few years ago, Urie stated that he and his wife don't plan on having children. Of course, he admitted that they might change their minds later (so fans have their fingers crossed).

When asked what kind of wife Sarah is, Urie said she's a great cook and is good about picking up after him... Fans can make of that what they will, but Urie also elaborated that while his wife is great, she definitely doesn't treat him like a rock star.

Case in point? Even on days when he arrives home from a tour, Brendon still might have dish duty. Sounds pretty relatable!

Isn't Brendon Urie Gay?

Some fans might have been struck with the misconception that Brendon Urie is actually gay. But why? In the past, Brendon has said that before getting married to Sarah, he previously dated (well, he actually said 'experimented with') men.

Various interviews have resulted in interesting Urie quotes, including ones like "everyone's a little gay." That quote came from a Tweet of Brendon's, but he later clarified his thoughts.

Though he said he finds himself "being attracted to dudes all the time," Brendon's also "more attracted to women" (as in, his wife).

Other sources suggest that Brendon claims he's pansexual, which sounds like it covers just about every scenario Urie has described. Either way, he's also pointed out that he's happily married, so there's no intrigue involved.

What Does Sarah Orzechowski Do?

So Brendon says his wife is a good cook and sometimes picks up after his messy self. But what else does she do with her time, and does she have a career?

Though Sarah is understandably private about her life with her husband, sources suggest that before meeting Brendon, Orzechowski studied makeup artistry and became an esthetician.

Some sources also say that Sarah once worked for MAC Cosmetics, but that she's now a makeup artist working for herself. Yet with all her high-profile connections (who else gets to "casually hug" Taylor Swift, commenters wondered), fans can only guess that Sarah has a range of opportunities in her industry.

What Has Brendon Urie Been Doing Lately?

Often, fans seem to assume that if a star isn't always in the spotlight, there's something going on with either them or their personal relationships.

And though recently, Twitter was ablaze over Brendon Urie, he's really been leading a fairly quiet life lately. It's by design, though, including his absence from Instagram and Twitter. Fans were thrilled to see Sarah Urie jump back onto social media, while Brendon's absence was prolonged further.

But ducking out of the spotlight is nothing new for the couple. In fact, a few years ago, Urie and his wife moved to a new home to escape rabid fans who kept showing up at their doorstep. Clearly, he and his wife prefer their privacy, and fans can (and should!) respect that.

Fortunately for fans, Sarah isn't hesitant to share her life with Brendon on social media, so fans can keep up with them... virtually. There's also Urie's Twitch stream to keep fans satiated until his next Panic! tour.
