Justin Bieber's music producer is dating one of his biggest acts... Charlotte Lawrence.
Charlotte, who is model Kaia Gerber's best friend, has made quite the career for herself. The daughter of Drew Carey Show star Christa Miller and Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence has successfully stepped out of the shadows by starting a modeling career, releasing two EPs and a number of singles including "Navy Blue", "Why Do You Love Me", and "Jokes On You" from the Birds Of Prey soundtrack.
While she's photographed basically everywhere alongside her famous friends, including Kendall Jenner, she remains pretty low profile... But that doesn't mean her fans haven't figured out she's secretly dating music producer Andrew Watt.
Who The Heck Is Andrew Watt?
Unlike her bestie Kaia, whose romances are extremely well-publicized, Charlotte likes to play things rather close to the chest. For years, she avoided discussing whether or not she was dating Charlie Puth, even with the rumors of his hidden sexuality. And yet, it seemed clear that she was in fact dating Charlie, according to Vanity Fair. This seems to be the case with her and Andrew Watt's relationship.
Neither of them has addressed it publically and yet there is ample evidence that they are 100% romantically linked.
Of course, the one thing fans aren't entirely sure of is who this man is...
Firstly, Andrew is 30-years-old (9 years older than his rumored girlfriend) and was born in Great Neck, New York. Shortly after high school, Andrew started to work professionally as a musician. He started playing guitar for Jared Evan, Cody Simpson, and Justin Bieber, his first major collaboration.
Around the same time, he founded his own rock band called California Breed. This band was also hugely important to Andrew's musical career as it paired him with Black Sabbath's Glenn Hughes and Jason Bonham from Foreigner and Led Zeppelin (he replaced his dad, John Bonham, as the drummer after he passed). This band would also lead him to release his first EP in 2015 alongside members of The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Queens of the Stone Age.
By 2016, Andrew was collaborating with Post Malone, Selena Gomez, and Camila Cabello on her smash-hit "Havana".
From there, he just shot up. Over the past few years, Andrew has experienced tremendous success, swiftly becoming an artist and producer that every young talent wants to work with. Even more established artists, such as Ozzy Osbourne, have used Andrew as a producer.
It's led him to winning a Grammy for his work on Dua Lipa's "Break My Heart", producing Justin Bieber's massive hit "Peaches", producing Miley Cyrus' album "Plastic Heart", and meeting his incredibly attractive and talented girlfriend...
The Truth About Andrew's Relationship With Charlotte Lawrence
Charlotte and Andrew have not made their relationship public despite copious photos suggesting they're romantically linked. Charlotte is notoriously cagey about her romances when speaking to fans or the press and Andrew probably doesn't want the narrative of him wooing a musical collaborator who is 9 years his junior.
The truth is, sparks can fly when people work closely together on something as personal as an album. It's happened for Andrew before, as he worked with Rita Ora who he was once romantically involved with. And it happened with Charlotte Lawrence when he produced her 2021 EP "Charlotte".
While making the EP in 2020, the two spent a lot of close time together... So much so that they both contracted COVID-19. They were photographed going to dinner shortly after their recovery.
Additionally, Andrew is all over Charlotte's Instagram.
For Charlotte's 21st birthday, she posted a series of photos on Instagram with the caption: "this is 21♥️surrounded by the most love I have ever felt in my life. the best birthday I have ever had. 🍾🍾😭🥳🥳😭🥳💫🌈"
Front and center was Andrew.
A photo of him wrapping his arm around the sultry singer led the pack of photos with some of the more well-known faces in Charlotte's life taken a back seat. Kaia Gerber was relegated to the third pic, while her father, producer and screenwriter Bill Lawrence, found himself near the back. The Grammy award-winning producer also found himself in the final pic in Charlotte's collection. In the shot, he is even closer with Charlotte, kissing her seductively on the cheek.
This seemed to almost solidify the fact that these two are dating.
Most of the time, Andrew is hiding in the shadows of Charlotte's Instagram. But the two are almost certainly together. Their relationship appears to be more than a musical collaboration as well as more than sexual chemistry. There appears to be a love there... they just don't want to share it with the world... Not yet, anyway.
