Why Armie Won't Post His Kids On Social Media

Armie Hammer has had quite a whirlwind of a year! The star has been experiencing some of the greatest success when it comes to his career. After securing roles in major films such as 'Rebecca', and the ever-so-great, 'Call Me By Your Name', Hammer has become quite a hot topic, and rightfully so! The actor made headlines early last year when it was revealed that he and his wife, Elizabeth Chambers, along with their two children, Harper, and Ford, would be traveling down to the Cayman Islands in order to wait out the pandemic. Although things were smooth sailing, Armie and Elizabeth announced their plans to divorce after a whopping 10 years of marriage.

Armie immediately returned to Los Angeles following the news, leaving his wife and children behind. After all the speculation and rumors surrounding why the two were splitting up, things finally simmered down leaving Armie and Elizabeth with time to figure things out. Armie made the decision to return to the Cayman's come December, however, considering the Caribbean island requires travelers to quarantine upon arrival, Hammer had to stay put for 14 days in his beachfront hotel before seeing his children and the rest of his family.

On January 2, 2021, Armie was allowed to be reunited with his kids after taking one final coronavirus test. The star took a photo of him reuniting with his family members, captioning the shot with: "Free at last!" Despite the great photo, fans were quick to notice that Armie's kids weren't in the shot, but it was certainly no accident. The star explained why his two children weren't in the shot, revealing how: "as a New Years' resolution I will not be posting pictures of my children for their safety and for their well-being", he said.
