As everyone in the entertainment industry has come to know, teenagers are a very valuable customer base to take advantage of. After all, a lot of teenagers get jobs which means they start to make a decent amount of money for the first time in the lives. Furthermore, a lot of teens don’t have any serious expenses and they struggle to save whatever money they get their hands on.

When Leonardo DiCaprio was a young adult, it was very clear that legions of teenagers around the world had a massive crush on him. With that in mind, it should go without saying that an untold number of young people had imagined how it would feel to kiss the young actor. Of course, several actors who’ve appeared in films with DiCaprio have gotten to live that experience for real as they’ve smooched him on camera. Unfortunately, even though DiCaprio usually gets along with his co-stars, one actor he has worked with more than once revealed that he bitterly complained about kissing her.
Beating All The Odds
From the outside looking in, it certainly seems like Leonardo DiCaprio has led one of the most charmed lives of all-time. After first becoming an actor as a youngster, DiCaprio would go on to land notable roles in shows like Growing Pains and movies like This Boy’s Life. From there, DiCaprio became one of the most talked-about actors around when he began to star in movies like What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Romeo + Juliet, and Titanic.
After first coming to prominence, Leonardo DiCaprio began to prove that he is a lot more than just a pretty face. After all, there aren’t too many actors in Hollywood history who’ve starred in more classic films than DiCaprio has. In fact, DiCaprio’s work in films like Catch Me If You Can, The Departed, Django Unchained, and The Wolf of Wall Street have ensured that he is one of the respected actors in history.
Most Memorable Co-Star
Even though Leonardo DiCaprio is one of the top movie stars of all-time, there is no doubt that he will always be associated with certain roles above the rest. For example, since Titanic was the highest-grossing film in history upon its release and it took many years for it to be surpassed, people likely will never forget that movie and the fact that DiCaprio starred in it.
Since Titanic is such an important film, it shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone that a lot of people will always associate the movie’s top stars with one another. Fortunately, DiCaprio and Kate Winslet have a great deal of onscreen chemistry and it has been clear that the two actors are close friends who enjoy working together. With that in mind, it makes sense that the two actors went on to star in another film together, 2008’s Revolutionary Road, and it seems likely they will work together again in the future.
Kissing Not-So Confidential
During a 2004 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio was asked to name the actor he enjoyed kissing on camera the most. Much to the relief of legions of Titanic fans, DiCaprio barely missed a beat before he answered Kate Winslet. In most cases, that would have put an end to any discussion of how much DiCaprio enjoyed kissing Winslet. In this case, however, that definitely wasn’t the case.
While Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet were both attending the 2005 SAG Awards, she crashed an interview that he was giving to Extra. Remarkably enough, the resulting conversation touched on their past kissing scenes when Winslet questioned DiCaprio’s previous claim that he enjoyed smooching her on camera.
While talking about the pairs Titanic kissing scenes, Winslet said “I can tell you right now he hated it” before stating that he would “complain bitterly” about filming those sequences. After initially denying Winselt’s recollection of his attitude towards kissing her, DiCaprio seemingly admitted there was some truth to her comment. However, he then went on to explain that the only reason he didn’t like filming those scenes as they were a pain in the butt. This is the case because the two actors wore different foundations which meant that in between takes he had to go through the makeup process again.
While some people may assume that DiCaprio was simply coming up with an excuse to explain his past conduct, it seems clear he was telling the truth. After all, Winslet and DiCaprio were both smiling and laughing throughout the Extra interview.
