Week after week it appears as though Sydney Sweeney's stardom is on the rise. Either the 23-year-old Washington-born star is slated to star in a new film or series, or she's flat-out producing one. Seriously, Sydney Sweeney just won't stop becoming more famous. No wonder she's already made a decent net worth.

While Zendaya is unequivocally the star of HBO's Euphoria (she did historically win an Emmy for it), Sydney Sweeney is the breakout star. Given how outlandishly dedicated Sydney is to the acting craft, this is only fair.

Jacob Elordi and Maude Apatow, among others, are also making a name for themselves thanks to the teen-centered, raunchy, and brutally authentic show. But they aren't making waves like Sydney. She's the actor who everyone is Googling. And we're not just talking about the lust-filled fans who want to see even more of the outrageously attractive talent. But Sydney has also built up an impressive fanbase thanks to her performances, her sense of fashion, her book club, and her completely approachable personality.

So, how exactly is Sydney on her way to earning A-list status at such a young age?

Sydney Started A Production Company And Is Already Starring In And Producing A Major Series

July 2020 was a big month for Sydney Sweeney. While she wasn't actively onset due to the pandemic, it was announced that she would star in a show that she is also executive producing. According to Deadline, Sydney will have some major creative and producing control of The Players Table.

Just this year, Sydney formally launched her very own production company, something not many young up-and-coming talents can say they're doing. In fact, that status seems solely reserved for established stars such as Reese Witherspoon or George Clooney.

Fifty-Fifty Films aims at being an inclusive, fair, and equitable production company that features an array of voices and talents.

The Players Table will be Sydney's first project under her new label. The TV series is an adaptation of Jessica Goodman’s forthcoming debut novel They Wish They Were Us. It follows the mystery surrounding a high school senior's friend and a secret society linked to it. Sydney is an avid reader and she came across the book and absolutely fell in love with it.

And so did Big Little Lies mastermind Jean-Marc Vallée (who she met while working on Sharp Objects) as well as Mickey and the Bear screenwriter Annabelle Attanasio who will be writing, directing, and also executive producing.

“Starting Fifty-Fifty Films has been a goal of mine for a long time,” Sweeney said in her Deadline interview. “When I read They Wish They Were Us I was instantly drawn to the specificity of the world and the struggles of the characters — and I knew it was the first project I wanted to produce. I’m really honored that Jean-Marc Vallée and Nathan Ross wanted to partner on this series. I’m getting to learn from the best. We are really thrilled to be working alongside an empowering filmmaker like Annabelle.”

Sydney Has Lined Up An Assortment Of New Projects

Aside from the fact that Sydney has launched a production company that will shoot a new show that she will lead, she also has an assortment of other projects she's attached to. Of course, Sydney is reprising her role as Cassie Howard in the next season of Euphoria (as well as in their Christmas specials). But that doesn't mean that she isn't making time for a few more high-profile projects.

Just recently, Sydney starred in Amazon's horror/thriller Nocture, which was produced by Blumhouse. Around the same time, it was announced by Deadline that Sydney would be starring in Silver Star, a movie about a very unlikely couple, a 19-year-old pregnant girl, and an ex-con. Additionally, Sydney will also be starring alongside Nashville and Friday Night Lights star Connie Britton in an HBO limited series satire. This would expand Sydney's genre repertoire substantially.

But Sydney hasn't limited herself to television and cinema.

Rihanna also hand-picked her to represent her lingerie line, Savage x Fenti. The company also features star models such as Cory In The House Alumna Madison Pettis. Given its early success, range of sizes, and inclusivity, the brand is likely to rival Victoria's Secret and other more established brands. Of course, Sydney's sultry, seductive good looks and incredible physique is sure to help the sales. Aside from photoshoots, she also uses her Instagram to promote the brand.

On top of this, Sydney is being asked to model for various other brands. All for his is surely going to increase her net worth and her celebrity status. Most of all, it will allow her to do what she loves, own it completely, and open the door for new talent.
