He's done a lot of things in his life and career. But one thing Brad Pitt hasn't done is played an honest-to-goodness superhero.

Yes, he appeared for a very brief window of time as The Vanisher (like literally a second). Beyond that, he hasn't ever portrayed a superhero, and fans want to know why.

Brad Agreed To Appear As The Vanisher...

By now, fans know that Brad appeared as The Vanisher and even accepted a super-low rate of pay for the opportunity. Though he seemed to get a kick out of hanging out on set with Ryan Reynolds, it was kind of a one-time deal.

After all, Brad only signed on as The Vanisher for one scene, and he clearly didn't voice the character in any of the character's 'Deadpool' non-appearances. So why won't he consider joining the MCU (or literally any other hero franchise) for a legit recurring role?

But He Has No Plans To Play Any Other Superheroes

Brad Pitt has portrayed a ton of different characters, and he's done everything from romantic films to action-rich movies to complete box office flops that had a deeper meaning than just earning millions.

And yet, Brad Pitt has no plans to appear as a superhero, he's said in interviews.

Brad very clearly elaborated, "I've done mine. I've done my superhero. Done it. Killed it." Uh, yeah, he really did; The Vanisher only appeared because he was literally dying.

But is that enough reason to skip playing a superhero in the future? Obviously, Brad knows there's more to the superhero universe than The Vanisher.

Of course, maybe his reluctance to try out for his own cape privileges has him feeling nervous. Sure, he's beat out George Clooney for roles, but he can't necessarily compete with the younger Hollywood generation at this point.

Brad's Connections To Superhero Films Could Change His Mind

Though Brad seems adamant that he won't play another superhero, fans still aren't sure exactly why. Maybe he thinks he's not cut out for it? Or maybe he's downright exhausted by all the decades he's spent being positively ripped for every role he's taken on.

Either way, fans are still hoping that Pitt's connections to the biggest superhero film franchises could change his mind about one day becoming an MCU or DC superhero... Or even a supervillain.

After all, working with Margot Robbie on 'Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood' probably shed some light on the fact that even DC villains can take up other side projects. Robbie is proof that neither heroes nor villains have to be pigeonholed into roles.

He's already known for playing literally everything there is in Hollywood, but apparently, Brad just isn't interested in becoming a superhero.
