Jenelle Evans is certainly one name you've heard before, especially if you're a fan of the hit show, 'Teen Mom 2'. The star appeared on the original show, '16 & Pregnant', and was later cast in the MTV spin-off alongside Kailyn Lowry, Chelsea DeBoer, and Leah Messer. Jenelle has remained a full-time cast member ever since its start back in 2011, however in 2019, Jenelle and her husband, David Eason, with who she's had quite an obsessive relationship, were both fired from the show last May.
This came as quite a surprise to fans of the show, however once it was revealed why the couple had been let go by the network, then viewers immediately sided with MTV over their decision to sever ties with the scandalous duo, who have both had their fair share of problems, Although they brought the drama over the last 9 years, David's actions were far too inexcusable, leaving many to wonder what exactly he did.
Why Jenelle & David Were Fired From 'Teen Mom'
If you're a fan of 'Teen Mom 2', then chances are you know who Jennelle and David are! The couple, who have appeared on the hit MTV show since its start in 2011, have been officially let go by the network, and for good reasons. David Eason was the first to be fired from the show back in 2018, leaving Jenelle on somewhat good terms with MTV, allowing her to stay on board. Eason was first fired due to a number of very aggressive homophobic slurs he posted to social media, leading to his termination from MTV in April 2018.
This appears to be an ongoing issue with many reality stars, who have gotten themselves fired over a series of homophobic or racist remarks made on social media, with David Eason being no exception. While Jenelle Evans remained on the show, despite her partner being fired, things took a turn for her when she was also let go by the network. Although Jenelle didn't actually do anything to get herself fired, she was let go simply by means of association with David Eason.
In May 2019, MTV revealed that they had stopped filming Jenelle, who is a mother of three after news broke that David killed her French bulldog! The former reality star admitted to shooting Jenelle's dog, Nugget, leaving fans stunned over his horrendous actions. Due to Eason's behavior, the network felt it would be best if they did not move forward with Jenelle, as to not have any link to David.
Fans were taken aback after MTV posted their announcement, saying "We have stopped filming with Jenelle Evans as of April 6, 2019, and have no plans to cover her story in the upcoming season". While viewers thought this was a harsh decision, it was warranted once the reasoning behind it was made clear.
