Jesse Williams has found himself on a number of hit television shows, whether it's playing Demi Lovato's love interest in her "Tell Me You Love Me" music video or his time spent on Grey's Anatomy playing the role of none other than Jackson Avery.

The star made his debut on the hit Shonda Rhimes show back in season 6 and has become a fan favorite, so much that fans have threatened to boycott the show if Jesse Williams' character was really to be killed off.

While the future of the show remains up for question, it appears as if that is the least of Jesse's worries. The star was recently ordered to attend a high conflict parenting program amidst their custody battle. This all came about following the actor's divorce from ex-wife, Aryn Drake-Lee, and here's how it all went down.

Jesse Williams Divorces Wife, Aryn Lee

Jesse Williams and Aryn Drake-Lee are making major headlines after the two were reportedly ordered by a court to participate in a high conflict parenting program amidst their long, and we mean long, custody battle.

The duo first wed back in 2012 after having been together for over 5 years. During their marriage, Jesse and Aryn expanded their family after welcoming their daughter, Sadie Williams in 2013 and their son, Maceo in 2015.

In 2017, after 5 years of marriage and over a decade together, the Grey's Anatomy actor filed for divorce from his wife, Aryn Drake-Lee.

The actor was the one who initiated the process and requested legal and physical custody of their two kids, all while checking off the box that requests the court to deny Aryn of any spousal support. Yikes!

It was at this very moment that things went from bad, to worse. On June 21, 2017, Aryn refused Jesse's request to spend more time with their kids leading the actor to publicly announce details regarding what was happening in their case.

While many believed this should have remained a private matter, most folks immediately wanted to know what led to their split. Well, it appears as if cheating rumors may have been at the center of this messy divorce.

Jesse was reportedly accused of cheating on Aryn with fellow actress, Minka Kelly. Williams hinted at this being the reason during his 11-minute Tidal cameo in Jay-Z's latest album, Footnotes For 4:44.

The actor went on about how he spent 13 years of his life with a woman, not mentioning Aryn by name, and that all of a sudden rumors came out that he was cheating with someone else.

"People are writing think-pieces that I somehow threw a 13-year relationship ... with a person I've loved with all of my heart - that I thee a person and my family in the trash because a girl I work with is cute."

Although neither Jesse nor Aryn confirmed cheating to be the cause of their split, fans believe this to be the reason, although it may be much deeper than that.

Despite reaching a settlement in 2018, where Jesse would have to temporarily pay Aryn $100,000 per month in spousal support, all while officially being given joint legal custody and equal rights and access to both of their kids.

While this may have gone over well, it appears as if the duo is back at it again after a court ordered them to attend a parenting program, which illustrates that their custody agreement is obviously not working out.
