By the time Josh Hutcherson netted his role in 'The Hunger Games,' he'd already done some things other actors only dream of.

He'd already starred in a film with Robin Williams, shared the screen with Brendan Fraser, and co-starred with Julianne Moore and Annette Bening in a high-ranking movie ('The Kids Are All Right'; critic Roger Ebert called it "a smart comedy").

He might've served as an inspiration to Jennifer Lawrence back when she started her acting career, but these days, Josh Hutcherson is an inspiration to every aspiring actor everywhere, too.

Thanks to having his acting chops showcased in 'The Hunger Games,' Hutcherson went on to enjoy some notoriety as Peeta. But as it turns out, Josh has mixed feelings about his time on the series.

Yahoo! Entertainment caught up with Josh after 'The Hunger Games' wrapped, where the actor revealed how he really felt about starring as Peeta.

Josh noted that being on the series was a "double-edged sword." How so, Peeta?

For the positives, Josh highlighted that the experience was amazing, almost staggering. He noted that working with "such incredible actors for such a long period of time" was an amazing opportunity.

He learned how stars like Philip Seymour Hoffman and Woody Harrelson worked, Hutcherson explained, calling his former co-stars "mind-blowing."

But at the same time, becoming Peeta basically meant becoming Peeta.

Of course, many other actors who've had iconic roles also earned fame as their characters instead of for their characters. Sean Connery's Bond, for example, resulted in the late actor resenting the 007 movies and the notoriety they earned him.

Similarly, Josh Hutcherson explained, "You can become boxed in as an actor, professionally." Fans know what Josh means when he says, "People can only see you as that character and it's hard for them to imagine you in something else."

As Josh noted, it can take literal years for actors to overcome such a boxing-in. The actor doesn't want to be known as "bread boy" Peeta forever, but it looks like that's sort of what happened.

Daniel Radcliffe is another perfect example of an actor who, no matter how risque or dynamic or funny he gets in his roles, continues to be best-known for being Harry Potter.

But Josh's example to imitate is Robert Pattinson, whose most famous role was as a vampire in 'Twilight.' Despite that insane level of fame (and being tied to then-rising-star Kristen Stewart, of course), Robert went on to act in a whole host of other projects, Hutcherson explained to Yahoo!.

Now, Robert is "killing it, doing incredible work," and that's what Josh hopes for, too. Only time will tell, but fans have to agree, Josh has already had an excellent start in Hollywood.
