When season five of Selling Sunset dropped on Netflix, breakout star Christine Quinn took to Twitter to share her thoughts. “Enjoy the new season and all of its 5,000 fake storylines," the blonde beauty tweeted. While Selling Sunset sells itself as being reality TV, Quinn claimed that this was far from the truth.In season five of the Netflix show, 33-year-old, Quinn frequently found herself involved in drama with fellow Oppenheim Group employees. Toward the end of the most recent season, cast member Emma Hernan accused Quinn of trying to pay a client to work with her over of with Hernan. Quinn denies the accusation but failed to address the situation with the boss Jason Oppenheim in the dramatic season finale. She also didn't turn up to the reunion.Christine Quinn also insinuates that co-worker Chrishell Stause was only succeeding in the agency because she was in a relationship with the brokerage's co-owner, Jason Oppenheim. 8 Christine Quinn Started Her Own Real Estate Company

Christine Quinn and her husband, software engineer and investor Christian Dumontet, announced a new real estate company in April 2022.

RealOpen, launched on April 22, suspiciously the same day the 5th season of Selling Sunset premiered. The concept is the first of its kind, allowing people to buy and sell homes using cryptocurrency.

On a Tweet announcing her company, she said: "Why work for someone else when you can be your own CEO?" Quinn has said her new company will "revolutionize" the housing market: "It took over a year of hard work and tenacity to create this platform and patent-pending technology," she tweeted.

7 Christine Quinn Denies Bribery

“So, an associate of Christine contacted my client and offered $5,000 on her behalf to not work with me and to work with her instead,” Emma Hernan revealed on the recent season of the reality show. She later added, “And the worst part of it is that he said to me, ‘I want you to be aware that she said that she was out to sabotage you.’”

Mary and Jason tried to call Christine into the office to talk about the situation, but she never showed up.

“Jeeezaz @XtineQuinn I was with you but whyyyy did you offer the client 5k not to work with Emma? #sellingsunsets5,” one fan asked her after the scene aired. “Omg bless your heart you actually think the show is real,” Christine replied alongside a crying with laughter emoji.

Someone else asked the realtor if the incident actually happened. “A big 5k lie and beyond,” she responded. “Why didn’t you go to the meeting with Jason and Mary?” another person tweeted. “Cause the meeting wasn’t real. Lolzzz” she answered.

6 Oppenheim Group Wasn't Forward Leaning

A Forbes profile about Christine Quinn's new venture reveals that she left the Oppenheim Group because the firm wasn't "forward leaning" and "wasn't a believer in crypto."

Sources close to Christine told US Weekly, “It was Christine’s decision to leave the Oppenheim Group.”

5 Jason Oppenheim Says Oppenheim Group Was Not Right For Christine Quinn

During the season five reunion, which aired on May 6, Jason Oppenheim confirmed that Christine Quinn would not be returning to the Oppenheim Group for the time being.

He revealed that he spoke to the person in the middle of the bribe allegation made by Emma Hernan, and said the case was closed, “I don’t think it’s for debate that (Christine) did this."

Based on that incident, Oppenheim said, “Right now, there is not a place for her at The Oppenheim Group," but was open to reconsidering his decision. Oppenheim and Quinn have reportedly not spoken about the incident. "She hasn't reached out to talk about it. I know that she has some thoughts on it."

4 Did Jason Oppenheim Fire Christine Quinn?

Jason was recently interviewed Extra TV about firing Christine.

“So I also addressed that in the reunion, and I think that’s a–it’s complicated, and I’m gonna be speaking with Christine actually in a few days,” he in the interview. “That’s something that I want to do in person, and I hope that we can do that. But I answer that in the reunion,” before adding “I’ll let that speak for itself.”

Christine was suspiciously absent from Selling Sunset’s season five reunion, the first reunion for the popular Netflix show.

Her representatives said that she had tested positive for Covid, although co-star Mary Fitzgerald was skeptical.

Christine Quinn's Selling Sunset co-star Chelsea Lazkani, remained tight-lipped about the blonde bombshell's departure as she admitted she "didn't know" if Christine would return. When interviewed for British morning TV show Lorraine, "I think, as with everything, there is always going to be an end. Now...is it now? I don't know," she told him, as she showed him around LA real estate. It appears the two realtors are still friends and still post Instagram pictures together.

1 Christine Quinn Is Ignoring Maya Vander

Following reports of Christine's exit, her co-star Maya Vander has said she reached out to her but that she hasn't heard back yet. She told the Metro, "I just hope she's doing okay. We'll see if she reaches out to me."

It looks like Maya knows about as much as we do about Christine's future business. "I think she left the office because I heard her picture is off the website. I don’t know the details, I don’t know what it means for her being part of the show."

It doesn't appear like she is in contact with any of her other Selling Sunset stars either. No matter what she does next, we are sure she will do it in her trademark fashionable and dramatic way!
