Welcoming babies secretly became easier last year for celebrities due to the social distancing and lack of events. A-list names such as Mindy Kaling and Jessica Biel didn't tell fans they were expecting a new baby.

In another interview, Jessica Biel said that she didn't plan on having a secret pregnancy, but it happened due to the circumstances. "It wasn't like it was supposed to be a secret," Jessica Biel said. "It was just Covid happened, and then I went to Montana with my family and never left."

Cameron Diaz was another high-profile celebrity who surprised the fans when she told became a mother last year. The actress announced it on Instagram. "Happy New Year from the Maddens!" they wrote in a statement shared on both of their accounts. "We are so happy, blessed and grateful to begin this new decade by announcing the birth of our daughter, Raddix Madden. She has instantly captured our hearts and completed our family," she wrote.

Cameron Diaz, who also became a businessperson in the last years,  explained that she felt a strong instinct to protect her baby. Therefore she would not post any other pictures or share additional about her daughter.

In June 2020, the rapper Iggy Azalea announced that she welcomed her first child with her then-boyfriend Playboi Carti. There were rumors of her pregnancy on the media. Fans also suspected she was pregnant due to her absence on social media, but she never confirmed it. Later the rapper also shared details about how Playboi Carti made her feel completely alone.

When Mindy Kaling got pregnant last year, she intended to announce it at the Met Gala. Since the event didn't happen and she was most of the time at home, the actress said she thought she "could get away with it."

"With him, I would occasionally have meetings. So from here up, I would have to look nice, but I was just kind of like pregnant, and no one saw. And I just thought, 'What if I could get away with this?' she said.
